Welcome to Sentgine!

Hey guys! A lot has been going on lately, and I'm well aware that I've been away for too long. Many things have happened, and I know I still have pending videos to make. However, to make it up to you, I wanted to share the latest Laravel CRUD Generator Package I built.

You can find it here: github.com/sentgine/crudwizard

What sets this package apart from other CRUD generators is that it follows the default Laravel best practices and conventions. It doesn't add any additional boilerplate code to your project, nor does it enforce any specific standards invented solely by the package creator. Instead, it leverages your existing knowledge of Laravel and serves as a productivity tool.

If you've been coding in Laravel, the CRUD generator should feel quite familiar to you.

Currently, the package only supports Blade, Tailwind, and Alpine JS. However, we're actively working on adding a REST API generator.

In the future, I'm also considering adding support for HTMX, ReactJS, VueJS, and Livewire. However, I can't make any commitments regarding these additions right now, as they would require a significant amount of work. Nonetheless, I hope this package enhances your productivity.

Stay tuned!

Yo, everyone! The next video is still in the works, but we're almost there. We'll be diving deep into the Delete Modal feature real soon. Sorry for the delay, but I'm doing my best to lay out the explanation as clearly as possible. Stay tuned!

Hey everyone! Just a heads up that there'll be a delay in uploading the next part of our Rest API & Single Page Apps series. All videos are recorded, just need to do the voiceovers. Aiming to upload this week. Stay tuned, and keep coding!

Happy New Year!

I'm excited to announce that I've actually changed the channel name now from Jack of Traits to Sentgine and replaced the logo that I had for 2 years. I'll be giving the channel a fresh new look in a few days, or perhaps even earlier than I expected.

Don't worry, all of your favorite videos will still be here - but from now on, we'll be using a new channel name and logo that I think will make the channel even more memorable and futuristic.

The only downside is that it might take a bit for search engines to catch up to our new name, but I'm confident it will be worth it in the long run. I can't wait for you all to see the new and improved channel!

Important Announcement:

I am deeply saddened to learn that the website "jackoftraits.com" has been purchased by another person who is apparently selling apparel. I had purchased the domain more than a year ago, but I had not been paying attention to it due to personal matters and it was bought by someone else. I am in no way promoting this website or have any connection to this entity.

Hey guys!

I'm quite thrilled that you guys voted for Laravel Livewire in my last poll. I usually like to do YouTube series, but I decided to switch things up and will create videos that covers one topic in detail.

This will be coming after I finish my current series, which has been a long time coming. I'll be breaking the video up into sections to make it easier to render. I want to make sure I cover all the details as possible.

Keep an eye out, because new videos are coming soon!

Hey guys! I'm genuinely struggling to finish up my latest series, which you can find here --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WI1pq....

There's so much happening in my life that I honestly feel like it's getting tougher to catch up day by day.

However, I'm starting part 4 as we speak, and I'm going to use React to start consuming our REST API application, which was created using Laravel & Laravel Sanctum for authentication.

I just wanted to make a survey to see what technologies we should learn next or make more videos about. Would you mind adding your votes below?

Finally, a new video is up!

P.S. Again, I'm sorry for not being able to post for a very long time. I'll try to make this as consistent as possible for the next months. I never thought that making these kinds of video would be time consuming to prepare. Also, I had a lot going on with my life, and it was very hard for me to get back on track into making videos.

Thanks for bearing with me, I love you all!

Hey guys! I'm starting a new short series that would probably only take less than 10 episodes. In this series, we talk about setting up Laravel Sanctum to create REST API for a simple Single Page Application. Stay tuned!
