SIO Maharashtra South is the part of Students Islamic Organization of India (SIO) which is an ideological organization working in the country since its inception on 19th October 1982 for the social progress and development of the students' fraternity. It is SIO's endeavor to prepare Students and Youth for the reconstruction of the society in the light of Divine guidance.
In order to understand SIO, it is essential to have a good grasp on its views on Islam, student and organization. The Arabic word Islam signifies peace, dedication and absolute submission. In other words it is the path to peace through complete surrender to God.

Tafaqqoh a literature revisiting course initiative was taken for the intellect upliftment & enrichment of Members.
Alhamdulillah! It's 2nd chapter was held at Pune in IIC on 16&17Dec 2023. Where Syed Sadatullah Hussaini (Chief patron SIO), Maulana Ilyas Khan Falahi(Ameer-E-Halqa) & Dr Khan Yasir(Director IIISR) interacted with participants. The sessions were engaged with full of bright & knowledgeable questions & responses. Qur'an ki 4 buniyadi istelahe, Islami tehzeeb aur is ke usool w mabadi, Deen ka Qur'ani Tasawwur, Mulk azeez me Dawat deen & Nazariyati Kashmakash aur Musalman & many more books and topics were discussed in sessions.Indeed Tafaqqoh sessions are not only a memorable moments but these are going to prepare the team of thinkers & intellectuals.
