Happy Monday, friends! ☀️
It’s me again.
I’m still a little shy about these Monday posts, but I think we’ve reached the stage where I no longer rewrite “Hello, friends” twelve times before posting it.
Maybe five.Progress. 😳😹
I realized this morning that summer is almost over, and I’m not completely ready for that.
You see, I love Bossa Nova. And Bossa Nova is basically summer in musical form: sunshine, sea, cold drinks, warm evenings… and the strange confidence that tomorrow’s responsibilities can probably wait. 🌊🎶
So yes, I’m going to miss summer.
But I’m also looking forward to September.
New music. New plans. Fresh ideas. Cooler mornings. And perhaps finally being able to sit near a window without slowly becoming a roasted cat. 😹
I think September might actually be nice.
Although I reserve the right to continue listening to Bossa Nova and pretending it’s August whenever necessary. 😼🎶

I have important news.
The boss praised me this week. 😳
Yes. Me.
I tried to accept it calmly and professionally, of course.
I nodded.
I said, “Thank you.”
Then I walked away with the expression of a cat who had just received an international award for outstanding achievements in moderation. 😼🏆
And you know what? After that, writing my Saturday post suddenly became much less scary.
I opened the page today and only stared at the Post button for about seven seconds.
Personal record. 😂
So your slightly shy - but now approximately 14% more confident — Silver Swallow moderator is here to wish you a wonderful weekend. 💛🎶
I hope you get enough rest, good food, good company, good music, and at least a few hours when nobody needs anything from you.

And yes… I still get a little shy when I start writing these posts. 😳
But I’ve decided that after all this time, we know each other well enough for me to appear here on Monday without spending half an hour wondering how to say hello.
Progress! 😼
So - happy new workweek, everyone!
I hope it brings you good news, interesting ideas, kind people, productive days… and enough Silver Swallow music in the background to make everything feel a little easier. 🎶✨
I did realize something slightly sad this morning, though.
Summer is going to end soon. ☀️
I know, I know. We still have time.
But August always feels like Sunday evening somehow — you’re still enjoying it, but somewhere in the back of your mind you already know Monday is coming. 😹
Still, I’m feeling optimistic.
There are so many things ahead: new music, new places, new people, unexpected conversations, cozy evenings, plans we haven’t even made yet…
And possibly some excellent snacks.
I personally consider that very important. 😼
So instead of being sad that summer won’t last forever, I’ve decided to enjoy what’s left of it and look forward to what comes next.

I think I’m getting better at talking to you.
I still stare at the Post button for a few seconds before pressing it… but we’re making progress. 😳😹
Today I’m officially off duty, although being a responsible Silver Swallow cat means my brain occasionally wanders back to work anyway.
And lately I’ve been thinking about our podcasts. 🎙️🎶
We’ve started making more of them, and I have one very important question:
Will you actually listen to them? 👀
I mean… I think they’re a lovely idea. Music you can put on while having coffee, driving somewhere, reading, working, or simply enjoying a quiet moment.
But I’m the cat moderator.
I may be slightly biased. 😼
So tell me honestly: do you listen to music podcasts? And what kind of Silver Swallow podcast would you actually press play on?

Well… it’s me again. 😳
I’ve been writing these posts for a while now, so technically I should be completely comfortable by this point.
Technically.
In reality, I still read everything three times before posting and then spend five minutes wondering if I used too many emojis. 😹
But I’m getting better! And today I came here for something important: to wish you a wonderful, productive start to the week. 🎶
Yes, I know it’s August.
Yes, I know half the world seems to be on vacation.
And yes, I also occasionally look outside and think that productivity in August should probably mean “I answered one email and deserve a little treat.” 😼☀️
Still, we have things to do, plans to make, and new music to enjoy at Silver Swallow.
So I’m wishing you a week with good ideas, enough energy to actually use them, fewer unnecessary problems, and plenty of little breaks in between. 💛
And now I’m curious: how productive are you planning to be this August Monday, from 1 to 10?
I’m aiming for an ambitious 8.

But I’ve already scheduled a nap, so realistically… 6. 😳🐾🎶

Happy Saturday, my lovely friends! 💛
It’s August, the sun is out, and somewhere not too far away the sea is doing a very convincing job of distracting me. 🌊😸
I’m not exactly working-working today.
Just checking a few playlists, reading your comments, making sure everything on Silver Swallow is running smoothly…
You know, very light and extremely important cat business. 🎶🐾
But every few minutes I catch myself thinking:
“Maybe I could just finish this one thing… and then go to the beach.”
Then I finish it.
And somehow there’s another little thing.
Very suspicious. 😹

So now I’m sitting here with a perfectly good Saturday, a beautiful August day outside, and a growing feeling that the sea is personally inviting me.
I’m shy, so naturally I need advice before making such a serious decision.

Should I:

🌊 finish everything calmly and head to the beach later?
☕ make another coffee, put on some relaxing music, and enjoy a slow Saturday at home?
😼 or decide that being a responsible moderator and a beach cat can absolutely happen on the same day?

What would you choose?

H-hi, everyone… Happy Monday. 🫣💙
So… it’s officially August.
You know… the month when everyone seems to be on vacation.
Everywhere I look, I see beaches, mountains, little cafés by the sea, and smiling cats wearing tiny sunglasses. 😹🌴
Meanwhile…
I only started this job, so asking the boss for vacation feels a little… ambitious.
Yesterday I almost gathered the courage to ask.
Then the boss looked at me.
I looked at the boss.
And suddenly I remembered I had… emails to answer. 😶💻

So for now, my vacation consists of:
☕ one extra cup of coffee,
🎶 lots of Jazz Music,
🌤️ and pretending my office chair is a beach lounger.
Honestly… it’s working better than I expected.
Now I have to ask…

H-hi… it’s me again. 🫣
I almost didn’t write today’s post.
Actually… I almost didn’t write any post.
Every Saturday I tell myself:
“Maybe people don’t really want to hear what a shy cat has to say…”
Then I stare at the keyboard for twenty minutes.
Walk away.
Come back.
Sit on the keyboard by accident.
Delete everything.
Start over.
Being the official Saturday columnist is much harder than it looks. 😹
But then I remembered something very important…
It’s Saturday!
Which means we can all take one deep breath…
…because Saturday is basically a tiny vacation before the new week begins. ☀️🌿
No need to rush.
No need to have everything figured out.
Today is for slow mornings, favorite music, good coffee, afternoon naps… and maybe being just a little kinder to ourselves. 💛🎶
So I finally gathered my courage and wrote this post.

A few weeks ago, I was hiding behind my coffee before saying hello.
Today?
I walked into Monday like I OWN THE PLACE. 😼✨
Okay… I walked in, saw my inbox, got scared for approximately seven seconds, and then continued bravely.
Progress is progress. 😂
So I’m here to officially wish all my wonderful Silver Swallow friends a beautiful start to the week! 🤍
May your coffee be strong, your playlist relaxing, your boss mysteriously busy somewhere else, and every message beginning with “Quick question…” actually be quick. 😹☕
My personal Monday strategy is simple:

Good music 🎶 + good mood ☀️ + absolutely no unnecessary drama = we might actually survive this.

And who knows? Maybe this week is bringing us something unexpectedly wonderful. ✨

I was told that, as your moderator, I should confidently wish everyone a wonderful weekend.
So…HAPPY WEEKEND!!! ☀️✨
…Was that too loud?
Sorry. 😹
My weekend plan is extremely ambitious: sleep a little longer, find the sunniest spot in the house, listen to some relaxing music, eat snacks I definitely didn’t earn, and avoid making any major life decisions until Monday.
I believe professionals call this “work-life balance.” 😌🐾
And since it’s summer, I strongly recommend adding something cold to drink and absolutely no guilt about doing nothing for at least a few hours.
Now I’m curious - what kind of weekend person are you?

🏖️ “Take me somewhere!”
😴 “Please don’t make me leave the couch.”
🍹 “I have no plans and that IS the plan.”
😹 Or are you like me: making 17 exciting plans and then taking a nap?
