Analog Comics is a channel for anything that involves this magnificent platform for stories :comics, graphic novels, bande dessinée, manga and so on.
In this channel I'll be talking about comics in my collection - old and new - classics and forgotten. Like any comics fan I am also constantly looking for new stories and art. This is why all comments and recommendations will be read with great interest.
And most of all, let's keep things positive!

Editing my next video. As usual, you can try to guess the topic. And, as usual, I'm not giving easy clues.

What if I told you it’s not smart to order only the external SSD hard drive🤔I can’t remember what the reason was but I’m sure it was pretty solid.
Have a great weekend everyone🕺I’ll be above the Arctic Circle in Lappland for the rest of the week. Just getting myself recharged before the next BD video.😊

Level up!
I Got myself some new gadgets and upgraded my studio again💪🏻The idea is to have a separate camera(my phone) to focus on table so I can show the books in more comfortable way. See how the HDMI switcher is hooked to table leg with bra straps🧠1000IQ!
I’ll be testing this setup very soon with my Angoulême Haul Video. It’s a big pile so probably it’ll be in two parts.

Comic book quiz! How much does this pile of comics weigh? 1)22,2 kg 2)19,9kg or 18,7kg?
Conveniently my hotel room had a scale. It helped me to calculate weight distribution of luggage😅
Angoulême Comic Book Festival destroyed my plans of going easy and light. I’m thinking if I should do a separate Haul Video about these books?

Asterix goes to Finland! Does that mean it’s a silent comic?🤔
Just kidding. I don’t know where Asterix is going but the next album will be a traveling story. All that is revealed is that it’s going to be a new destination again. New album is out October this year🤘🏻

I have a new - and short! - video out about Lucky Luke Untamed - album. It's a quick look without deeper analysis. I just had so much fun reading it I thought best to share with everyone in case you're after something that'll make you smile.

My new video essee about Bande Dessinée is out now. It's quite different from anything else so far. A more intimate look into the challenges René Goscinny went through in his life that ended too soon.

Hello from AC Backstage. I'm in the process of saving my latest video from total disgrace. Some call it editing. This one is a surprise for me too. It's part of the Do You Know European Comics-series and I kind of drifted into this through a personal obsession. I'm not going to reveal yet what it is about.
In edit I did notice that while filming I've been kicking my microphone cable and you can hear it. Well, live and learn. I'll remeber it better the next time.
And yes my laptop screen is that dirty. I'm eating Christmas cookies with both hands inside a cookie crumbs&dust cloud. It only ends if there are no more cookies...

Of the new Lucky Luke stories I have mostly followed the "Lucky Luke by..."-series rather than the albums in canon after Morris. However this new album Trouble Brewing(In English by Cinebook) has interesting twist. It places Lucky Luke in the place and time where the Old West and modern times meet.
Apparently it was close that German would be the official language of USA. I did not know this?! It also claims that the German community also introduced many of the iconic American symbols like hamburger, ketchup, hot dogs and Christmas tree. Well, most of my Wild West knowledge comes from Lucky Luke anyway so I believe this to be true.
Info about this book was sent to me by the fine people at Cinebook - but I was aware of it already as the Finnish version is already out. Looks interesting to me. Maybe time to read more Lucky Luke?
