Neighborhood Car Reviews

We are Neighborhood Car Reviews, and we bring in-depth walk-around videos of new cars as well as unique older cars! We also film how-to videos that touch on increasing technology found in vehicles these days. In addition, we may also upload test drive videos as well. Our goal is to bring non-biased fact-based reviews in a manner that is the same as if you were to personally walk around the vehicle, focusing on exterior, engine and transmission, as well as driveline, performance and off road specifications as well as functions such as remote start and keyless entry. Inside, we show all the features inside the car as well as backup cameras, navigation systems and sunroof operations. Back seat portions, if applicable, focus on seats, seat folding and details for cupholders and other rear seat amenities. Then we have just a quiet, voice-free portions of interior overviews, then move to the trunk, which is the last portion, which focuses on storage, capacity.

Oh my goodness! I’ve really dropped the ball here! I just realized that I don’t have a video ready for tomorrow’s upload! Hopefully I get some time later today to record my voiceovers to get some videos ready!

I have some fun news! After almost a year of thinking and coming up with concepts and design work, we are launching a new series called “Power From the Past”. What this series will focus on are old tractors and machinery in short (less than 2-minutes long) videos. Agriculture and farming are a big way of life in my area, so we always have antique tractor shows that have good turnouts. Already, I have 5 videos ready to go, and with our county fair starting on July 5th, I’ll be able to grab more content soon! The Indiana State Fair always has a neat turnout too. One year (before I did videos) an older gentleman brought his Waterloo Boy! I’ve not seen it since, but I’d love to have essentially the precursor to what we know as John Deere!
Hopefully people enjoy this new series and a trip down memory lane!

Good morning everyone! Well, today is Monday and that means Upload Day, and, after reviewing the polls (not a lot of votes), but the number one requested was the 2002 Ford Taurus, so, that’s what we will upload!

Oh my goodness! It has been quite a while since I last interacted in this portion of YouTube! Well, here I am! I am going to try to be more active over here. Hopefully, with everyone's help, we can get this channel growing! Since I have taken a full-time job that is quite demanding of my time, my upload frequency has diminished a bit, but I do try to get a video up every Monday! Sometimes I miss, but I want to do at least one weekly upload and possibly a mid-week upload as well! I have made some changes to the channel, including different thumbnails and such. I am also trying to better optimize this channel for improved SEO performance. Unfortunately, we just aren't where we should be! It would be a great help if everyone could like, subscribe and share! Thank you and looking forward to a new year in 2025!

Neighborhood Car Reviews

Hey everyone! Hope all is well. Can’t believe we are already into November! I’ve always heard it said when I was a kid “the older you get, the faster the year flies by”, and I guess they weren’t wrong!
The reason for my post; I’m trying to figure out why my video views have tanked. I know I’m not one of the big players like Car Confections or Doug DeMuro or even Redline Reviews, but I feel like all of us offer somewhat unique takes on car reviews. I used to be pretty happy with my views. I’d get anywhere between 10K to 30K per video, then it would drop to below 5K per video, ultimately dropping below 100 views per video. I know I’ve not uploaded consistently like I should be, but I do try to upload at least once a week or so. I’ve even thought about creating a whole new channel and re-uploading, just to see what would happen! Anyways, rant over! I still enjoy doing this, and with my full-time job at a medical device manufacturing company (Boston Scientific), it’s been a bit harder, time-wise, to devote solely to just this channel, but rest assured, for those who do watch, I’ll continue to put in the same effort for research and accuracy as any other video I post!
Thank you all for your support and have a great holiday season this month and next!
