While filming scenes for my TM M4 MWS 10th Birthday episode, I brought out my Leon the Professional Sniper Rifle Project.
BavTac UK has been instrumental in helping me with this setup. He’s not only spun up a whole new barrel nut for my King Arms Sniper Handguard, but he has had it back on two separate occasions for minor tweaks, which has allowed it to bolt onto my GHK M4 upper receiver and also accept my new outer barrel.
He also recommended West Laser for the Armour Black cerakote treatment for the handguard assembly and my cut-down front sight gas block. The turnaround was quick and is the highest quality! Makes my efforts on the gas block look incredible! Thank you, sir.
This is the condition that its currently in. There is still lots left to do with the custom project, but presently it’s more of a 90’s Bushmaster V-Match Carbine than it is a Leon Sniper Rifle. Don’t mind that at all!
The old fashioned TM Tracer unit won’t be staying as the project demands a 16” length barrel. I need a new roll pin for the front sling swivel. At least 1x 20rd GHK Magazine. A plain M16A1 stock plate. M16 Length Buffer. Maybe a rubber buffer tube spacer. 30mm scope mounts. And other stuff!
All in all, it’s nice to have a more antiquated and lightweight AR. If only the stock wasn’t a creaky hunk of ABS junk.
Thank you so much BavTac. You’re a magician that make dreams come true.
Updating my WE G36 for 2025 / Making the WE G36 Great Again with WE Airsoft 2.0 and R.E.C - Research / 研究室
I dabbled in modifying the G36 to accept AR mags several years ago. Specifically GHK mags, as the interface matched the G36’s almost perfectly.
(WE M4 mags were totally alien by comparison…a piece of fruit 🍎 would’ve matched the G36 better, rather than WE’s own M4 magazine)
I successfully proved the concept by shooting the system with GHK’s M4 mags but I didn’t have the technical skill for 3D design or printing….so I plotted an evil scheme to get clever engineers to produce them for me. 😈👹 Mwahahahahahaaaaaa
I’m a villain!
Designers and folks like Rec Research picked up where I left off and created the magwell adapter you see in the image here. If you want one for yourself you can contact RR on Facebook or find him on IG, or if you happen to be handy with a printer you can find one available on Thingiverse by James Karet.
I’m patiently awaiting Clutch Precisions version for the VFC G36, which should be super cool.
I have been posting gear pictures over on my socials for a little while now and I thought I’d share them here too. This is the 3rd MK3 style chassis that a friend of mine has made. By hand! No sewing machines, just a needle, thread and bloodied hands!
He’s former Military Police and taught himself how to make gear. Pretty much how all Gear companies are usually founded. The first version he made was in Omani DPM, the second was in Black, and this time we have it in British MTP Camouflage…and complete with a DANGLER 😄
I reckon he has outdone himself with this one. The quality is astounding. Such a well built piece of gear.
He has kindly provided it for these shots and included various inserts for multiple magazine types.
Who wants a setup like this for their own rig?? Let me know..I’m trying to convince him to go all in and make a career out of it. Wink wink…nudge nudge .. *slides over a big thermos of Bada Bing Coffee*

Another milestone for an amazing piece of cinema, and Leon the Professional celebrates its 30th anniversary.
I’ve been reviewing the rare Leon edition Beretta 92FS made by Japanese airsoft manufacturer Western Arms. I bought it late last year, and I am in the process of constructing its review. This example is factory fitted with an Algimec-style compensator and comes with the movie’s accurate suppressor.
This is one of those dream items that I have wanted since I first laid eyes on the film...back when I was 14. The initial release by WA blew straight past me, and I thought I had lost my chance, until a comment I made on a users HRC group gallery photo resulted in this dream coming true.
“Ya’know, if you ever want to sell it, let me know.”
The guy remembered me and got in touch. So I’ve since put some genuine Beretta grips on it, thanks to @crw_airsoft, and I hope to have the review released in the next few weeks.
If you haven’t seen my latest video, 20k Subscribers, I revealed that I have got into coffee roasting! I am thrilled to present ‘Bada Bing Coffee’.
As a small batch coffee roaster, I provide responsibly sourced, single origin coffee. At the moment I offer:
Colombian Medium Roast and Honduran Dark Roast. The Colombian is the perfect all-day drinker and my Honduran is that intense morning kick which sets you up for the day.
I passed another milestone, and as usual I’ll be back with an updated collection video. Also, I have a pretty big announcement to go along with it. I’ve been working on this particular thing for over 18 months, hence why the major reviews have been in short supply. (Although I’ve never been one to rush these things anyway)
Until then, here’s a few stills from this upcoming video. Thanks to everyone that have supported and continue to support my stuff!
Guns Modify posted a few images recently of their upcoming SCAR L GBBR. It’s based of the Tokyo Marui gas system, and I expect it’ll be cross compatible with several parts. Magazines especially.
It’s looking cool. No release date yet. According to their Facebook post they are waiting for parts until it’s officially ready. It could be likely that we’ll see these in shops soon.
I received an amazing amount of support following the release of my latest video. My final VFC 416 GBBR purchase turned out to be a solid purchasing decision. Glad I took advice from some of you early last month about the Asian edition. It worked out.
Thank you ladies and gents for all the heartwarming comments. You’re all legends
