My name is Waylon Myers, and I was bullied all my life to say the least. It's really a struggle dealing with a speech impediment and not being able to pronounce a lot of words. It got to a point where I wanted to end it all, but then I created Team Lilian in 2010 to escape from my darkside from thinking that way. Fast forward years later and I feel comfortable talking to a lot of people. Standing Strong was inspired by Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia, so it was that moment when Lilian Garcia told me to always be myself and trust that its enough when I created my very own podcast talking to numerous of people!!
I am bringing you "Standing Strong” where we, Waylon and Ashley, are two friends being a light and supportive leader for our daily life struggles. Noone should feel alone or worthless. Let’s be the change the world needs together!!

It’s honestly crazy to even look at this… 1,100 subscribers.
When I first started making videos back on December 23, 2020, I never thought it would turn into anything like this. Back then, it was just me posting, going live, and trying to figure things out during a weird time in the world. No expectations… just showing up.
Fast forward to now…

I was bullied, made fun of, called names that no one should ever have to hear. People judged me for my weight, wearing glasses, loving WWE, and my speech impediment, as the mocked me… They made me feel like I didn’t belong in this world and for a while, I believed them. There were nights I sat there questioning everything— my worth, my purpose, even my existence. I almost gave up.
But something inside me refused to stay down. One day, I looked at everything I had been through and I said, enough is enough. I stopped letting other people define who I was.
I stopped carrying the weight of their words and I started discovering who I truly am.
That’s when everything changed.
I found my purpose; Through my fansite Team Lilian, my podcast Standing Strong, speaking up and reaching out… I realized my pain wasn’t the end of my story— it was the beginning of it.
Now, I’m here to remind others, You are not what they called you:
1. You are not what they tried to make you believe. 2. You are stronger than their words.
3. You are bigger than their opinions.
4. And your story? It matters. If I can rise from that place… so can you.
And I’ll keep using my voice to help others find their purpose— just like I finally found mine.

It hasn’t always been easy for me, I’ve struggled to find real people; people who truly accept me for who I am & having a speech impediment. I’ve had so many come and go. People I thought cared, people I trusted, people I got attached to and when they left & betrayed me, It left me carrying an emotional pain that’s hard to explain.
But I never let that pain take my joy away; because over time, I realized something… Not everyone is meant to stay and that doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with me. It just means I’m still becoming who I’m meant to be. Now I stand stronger than ever, more confident, more aware, more me, and I’m not changing that for anyone.
The right people will accept you, not tolerate you.
So don’t lose yourself trying to keep people
who were never meant to stay. Keep being you Always.
