Whisper of Deen🕊️

Not everyone bows to idols.
Some of us bow to something far more subtle…
our nafs — our desires, our ego, our comfort.

We chase what feels good,
even when Allah has clearly told us it’s wrong.
We know the truth… but ignore it for the sake of temporary pleasure.

We choose:
💤 Comfort over salah
😔 Desires over self-control
👥 People’s approval over Allah’s pleasure

Slowly, without even realizing it,
we start obeying our feelings more than we obey our Rabb.

But ask yourself…
🕊️ Who really controls your life?
Your wants... or His words?

📖 Allah says in the Qur’an:
"Have you seen the one who takes his own desires as his god?"
— Surah Al-Furqan 25:43

This verse isn’t just about “someone else.”
It’s about us.
It’s a wake-up call. A heart-check.

So before we point fingers at idol-worshippers,
let’s check:
🔍 What do I bow to when no one’s watching?
🔍 Who do I obey when it’s hard?

Your nafs or your Lord?

🤍 May Allah help us purify our hearts,
and submit to Him fully — not to our ego, not to society, not to desires.
Only Him. Always.
