🍁 My Thanksgiving Message to You 🍁

As we celebrate Thanksgiving here in the United States, I just want to pause and say how truly grateful I am for you.

Whether you watch my videos, join the weekly live streams, read my emails, or simply stop by here from time to time, your presence means more to me than you know.

Building this community has been such a blessing, and I’m thankful for every comment, every question, and every bit of encouragement you’ve shared along the way.

I also want to acknowledge something important. While this is a season of gratitude, I know the holidays can be hard for many people, especially if you’ve experienced loss, family challenges, or major life changes. If that’s you, I’m holding space for you today and keeping you in my prayers. You are not alone, and I hope you still find moments of peace, comfort, and small joys.

For those who are traveling, I’m wishing you safe travels and smooth days ahead.

For those outside the U.S. who may not celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope today is still filled with reminders of the good in your life, no matter how big or small.

And for everyone reading this, I hope you have too many things to count when you pause and reflect on what you’re grateful for.

This is what it looks like from the other side of the camera...

Not at all glamorous. No fancy studio.

✔️ Yes, that's a queen-sized bed in front of my desk (because I record in my guest bedroom).

✔️ Yes, I still use a 4-year-old MacBook Pro (hey, it still gets the job done!).

✔️ Yes, the money I earned from YouTube paid for all equipment, except my MacBook

When I first started recording, I used a Canon DSLR camera, a Rode mic, and natural light from the window that you see (things I already owned).

As the saying goes, start where you are with what you have. I added the other stuff later (once I was monetized on YouTube).

𝗦𝗼, 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁. Start with what you have, and add things as you begin to make money.
