Huge Update!: I managed to get all of the data off of my SSD again!!!! I can't even put into words how happy I am. The laptop itself is mostly stable, but I am definitely gonna have to replace the SSD and look into getting some more RAM in the future, since buying a brand new PC right now is just outright absurd with how the market is, and this laptop was actually designed to be somewhat modular too, so upgrading it shouldn't be a hassle. I'd like to thank a lot of my friends for helping me every step of the way, and to gracious viewers like you, who come to this channel and support what I do. you guys mean so, so much to me. While I can't celebrate MOTHER 3's 20th anniversary quite like how I hoped I could, I'll still get a restoration up :) it'll be a restoration of "Memory of Life" but with a little twist: i re-included the strings present in the MOTHER 3i arrangement of the song. I hope you'll look forward to what comes next! Agan, thank you all so much, it truly means the world to me. <3

I’ll look into repair/recovery places near me, but I might have just lost 3-4 years worth of music files, custom samples, artwork, the whole deal, since it’s my :C drive going bust that’s to blame. I’m so incredibly sorry for this inconvenience. I will not be able to do what I set out to do for MOTHER 3’s 20th anniversary, let alone music for quite some time…

I’ve been very busy at work, but as soon as Friday comes around, I plan on uploading faithful mixes for both “Hazy Maze Cave” and “Dire, Dire Docks” from Super Mario 64!! I put a lot of effort into both of these mixes, and I hope that you’ll enjoy the artwork I made for both videos as well. Until then, have a good one!! ❤️

Quite the amount of originals lately, huh? I got a few more to get out before I plan on going back to the regularly scheduled covers, but we're getting REAL close to the big 11K milestone now, and I got quite the announcement planned. I know a lot of you initially came to this channel for MOTHER 3 related content, so those of you waiting out for more are gonna be in for quite the treat, that's all I'll say. ;D
Recently, I acquired a Yamaha MOTIF Rack Tone Generator, and a Yamaha MU128 with the PLG100-SG (vocal synthesis) expansion board, which is SUPER exciting as I've theorized for quite some time that this expansion board was used for the vocals in Mario Artist: Talent Studio, but it'll be some time before we find out >:O (still gotta figure out how to get SG Lyric Editor working too, so the voices can do more than just go "aaa"... graaah, old software is scary >_<)
Also, I just moved out of my ma's home, and the new place is absolutely KICKIN'!! It's so great to finally have my own place, though I'll miss living with more of my family... But all is well! ☺️

Guess who recently acquired a Roland JV-1010?? >:3
Not only does this thing have every single JV-1080 bank (rendering the VST useless) but it also has the Session expansion board built in!! (A soundset not recreated in any official Roland VSTs) ALSO I got the orchestral expansion card, so now I don’t really need to use the SRX Orchestra VST >:DD I can’t wait to start using this in some tunes!! Thank you all so much for getting this channel to 10k subscribers… I got a dedicated cover going up for the occasion soon, so I’ll be able to say more of what I wanna say there, but GOOD things are comin’!!!
I've wanted to start using these community posts for more than just personal updates, so I'd like to direct y'alls attention to my friend's YouTube channel!! He does a fantastic job with recreating tracks from the Mario & Luigi series, and uses sound sources directly from hardware!! If you wanna hear restorations of Mario & Luigi music, his channel is your #1 spot!! His mixes have really come a long way, and I think you'll find so too. hey guys, in light of everything going on in my life right now, I think it's best if I take a break for a while, at least until I can get back on my feet. I'm in such a financial rut right now, and I've brought so many burdens onto my shoulders, regrettably. In due time I'll be back and better than ever, but to keep this uploading up and pretending like everything's okay isn't going to make things better, for myself and those around me. I'm sorry.
