*Farman Haider on Jagadhatri’s fake marriage twist: “Is a very significant milestone for…”*

Zee TV’s popular show Jagadhatri has been loved by everyone, thanks to its gripping storyline and the strong on-screen chemistry between its lead stars, Shivaay (played by Farman Haider) and Jagadhatri (played by Sonakshi Batra). The show has been performing well, keeping audiences hooked with constant twists and high-voltage drama. It is also doing well on the TRP charts.

The current track revolves around a major turning point in the story. Shivaay and Jagadhatri got married. However, this marriage comes with a shocking twist, as it is a fake one. The duo entered the Deshmukh house to uncover the truth behind Jagadhatri’s mother’s death. Alongside this, they are also determined to prove that Mahesh Deshmukh is Shivaay’s real father. Maya is left completely stunned upon learning about Mahesh Deshmukh’s connection to Shivaay and now, she has given Jagadhatri-Shivaay a month to prove this.
As Shivaay and Jagadhatri step into the Deshmukh household, the tension escalates further. Shivaay and Jagadhatri now have just one month to uncover the truth and to prove that Mahesh is Shivaay’s real father.

While the storyline intensifies on screen, the camaraderie off screen has been just as engaging. Speaking about the on-screen bond with co-star Sonakshi Batra, actor Farman Haider shared, “She is extremely sharp, disciplined, and fully present during Shivaay-Jagadhatri scenes, which makes performing scenes with her very easy. Our teamwork in such moments is very strong, and that comfort clearly reflects on screen. When your co-actor understands your rhythm so well, scenes automatically look very impactful. Off screen too, Sonakshi and I share a great bond. We rehearse, discuss scenes, and support each other, which really helps when the emotions get intense. I think that connection has translated beautifully into the ongoing marriage sequence. Marriage is a very significant milestone for Shivaay and Jagadhatri, especially because both have lost their parents at a very young age. Though they are entering a fake marriage for now, the emotional weight behind it is real, and it will be interesting for viewers to see how they navigate this new phase and manage their relationship under such circumstances.”

Sonakshi Batra spoke about her comfort and understanding with Farman, saying, “Working with Farman is extremely comfortable because he is very focused and disciplined. He brings a lot of intensity and clarity to every scene, which makes it easier for me to perform with confidence. Our coordination is very strong, and that naturally reflects on screen. Off screen too, we share a great understanding and trust, which helps us while shooting emotionally heavy sequences or the action scenes. The current marriage track is very special for Jagadhatri and Shivaay, and even though the marriage is a fake one for now, the emotions involved are very real, and I feel that Farman and I have managed to bring that sensitivity and complexity to the screen. He’s someone with whom I’ve struck a chord since the time we started working together. We are alike in a lot of ways, our value system, our work ethics are similar.”

With many twists and turns coming up for Shivaay and Jagadhatri, the show promises viewers an engaging mix of drama, suspense, and evolving relationships in the episodes ahead.

*Shakti Anand shares how daily discipline helped him step into Mahadev’s world in COLORS’ ‘Mahadev & Sons’*

COLORS’ ‘Mahadev & Sons’ is steadily winning hearts by telling a story that feels familiar and rooted. Set in the culturally rich town of Hardoi and inspired by real-life events, the show brings alive the warmth, resilience, and emotional complexity of Indian families. It celebrates bonds shaped by tradition, everyday struggles, and unspoken love, capturing moments that feel lived-in and authentic. That sincerity, drawn from real soil and real stories, is what has struck an instant connection with viewers.
At the centre of this world is Mahadev, a self-made family man whose discipline and values hold the household together. Calm, composed, and authoritative, Mahadev represents a generation that believes routine is strength and responsibility is love. To carry that honesty on screen, Shakti Anand immersed himself in Mahadev’s way of life, building a physicality that reflects a man who has always led from the front and never hesitated to do the hard work himself.

*Sharing his thoughts on the response and the role, Shakti says,* _“I’m really grateful for the love the audience has been showering on Mahadev & Sons. It’s reassuring to see the story and the characters connecting so strongly. What drew me to the show was the honesty of its world - it’s rooted and inspired by real situations, and that grounding reflects in every relationship. Mahadev is someone who has earned everything the hard way, so that strength has to show naturally on screen. He’s a man who has built his life brick by brick, and because of that I can’t look lazy or disconnected from the kind of life he has lived. To play him truthfully, I couldn’t rely only on dialogues; his strength comes from his body language, his alertness, and the way he occupies space, because he’s someone who has always done the work himself. I consciously worked on my physicality and discipline so that Mahadev never looks removed from his roots. When audiences tell us they see someone familiar in him - a father, an elder, someone they recognise from their own lives - that’s when I feel the preparation has truly paid off.”_

In the current storyline, Ashish’s struggle with alcoholism leaves Mahadev shaken, even as he remains unaware of the reason behind it. As Mahadev turns to a marriage bureau to find matches for his sons, a proposed alliance between Ketan and Narmada triggers his anger, opening the door for Bhanu to take advantage of the growing unrest.

*Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile’s Bharat Ahlawwat on the upcoming bike action sequence: “Akshay sir has always been an inspiration”*

Zee TV’s Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile is all set to raise the adrenaline levels with a high-octane action sequence. The show, starring Bharat Ahlawwat (Raghav) and Aayushi Khurrana (Reet), will soon showcase an intense bike stunt sequence, which promises to be one of the major highlights of the storyline. The dramatic track will see Raghav meeting with a terrible accident, which will land him in the hospital, fighting for his life. Sharing details about the shoot, Bharat reveals that he chose to use his own bike for the sequence. This helped him stay in complete control, as he is familiar with every detail of his bike, making it easier to execute the stunts smoothly and confidently.

Bharat shares, “The bike stunt sequence was an amazing experience. Performing such action sequences in our own way and style was truly memorable. Our director, Sumit Siri, and I discussed beforehand how we could make the action scenes look different yet natural. I really wanted to do it properly, so much so that to ace the scene perfectly, I even used my own bike (laughs). The entire sequence took around two hours to shoot. In fact, my co-star Aayushi was also part of another bike stunt action sequence, and I even taught her how to ride a bike during the shoot. Teaching her was a lot of fun, and I ensured that she didn’t get hurt while we performed the action scene. Overall, it was a unique and enjoyable experience. I would love to perform more stunts on the show, especially bike sequences, if I get the chance again.”

Talking about actors who have inspired him when it comes to action sequences, Bharat adds, “While Bollywood has many great actors known for performing impressive stunts, I have always been a fan of Akshay Kumar sir. He is the original ‘Khiladi’ and has always been my inspiration when it comes to performing action sequences.”

Currently, Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile is focusing on the turbulent phase in Raghav and Reet’s love story. Their relationship stands on the verge of collapse as Reet believes that Raghav has betrayed her with Kirti, adding more emotional intensity to the ongoing drama.

*Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan’s Amandeep Sidhu on her childhood Makar Sankranti proposal: *“He wrote his number on a kite”**

Zee TV’s Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan is all set to showcase a unique Makar Sankranti celebration starring its lead pair Amandeep Sidhu (Sneha) and Sheizaan Khan (Siddhu). The show will soon air the Makar Sankranti celebration episode, where Siddhu finally confesses his feelings for Sneha by writing them on a kite. Interestingly, Amandeep Sidhu had a real-life Makar Sankranti proposal during her childhood, which is quite adorable.

Recalling how, during one of the Makar Sankranti celebrations, she did receive a proposal that too on a kite, Amandeep shares, ‘I was in eighth or ninth standard, living in Delhi. There was a boy who lived near my lane, it was typical galli mohalle wala pyaar. We never really spoke to each other, not even a hello or a hi. We would just see each other from our windows at a fixed time. During one of the kite-flying days, he wrote his phone number on one of his kites. I still remember what happened clearly. And then I remember calling him. It’s such an adorable memory.’’

Talking about the Makar Sankranti scene that she recently shot for Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, the actress says that the scenes may look really fun when you watch them, but it was extremely challenging to shoot. Amandeep says, "Shooting the Makar Sankranti scene was challenging for us because we had to work in very cold weather, it was around three to four degrees. We had to be on set early, around 7 to 8 in the morning, because we were filming a scene that takes place during the day and that made it even tougher. It was really windy, and the air was moving around a lot. But I would also like to point out that we also had great fun while shooting the Makar Sankranti celebration, it was a shoot which didn’t feel like one, we enjoyed a lot.’’

The show is getting ready for a big surprise during the Makar Sankranti celebration. Sneha is going to find out something that will change everything. She will soon learn that Siddhu, whom she thinks is her friend and confidant, is actually the son of Durgawati.

From the ashes, Purvi rises again, reborn as the fearsome Mahasheshnagin. As the dragon prepares to burn Mahakumbh to ashes, Naagin readies herself for a battle that could save the nation.
