I was asked for an update on "Ruby" the Buff Orpington that came to us with wry neck.
Wry Neck effects the muscles in the neck and causes the neck to carry the head in extreme positions. "Ruby's" head was all the way on top of her back, which made it difficult to eat or drink. She had a lot of distress with the condition.
She has grown into a lovely hen and continues to thrive with no neck or head issues.
This is a very basic overview of how to put a halter on a horse. By passing the strap to your other hand, you avoid the common mishap of slapping yourself in the head with it. Enjoy!
