I am finally uploading the first India Episode to Youtube so for paid Patreon/YT Members you will be able to see it later today!

I have also made a 360° video through the sand dunes at Mui Ne, Vietnam - but I am currently getting to grips with the technology - these videos are shot in 8k which is huge and I have to edit them through one program and then export them to another program to add vice over, colour etc but it seems some information is getting a bit lost along the way and it's not coming out full 360.

I have included the link here so if you guys would like to try it (you should be able to move the cursor around on screen to move the view) and tell me if its working or not.

A little insight to me... I really love making films, and the whole process around it and editing is on the top of my list - it just takes so much time. It's hard to find the balance between living in the moment and producing videos in a timely and consistent fashion but I am 'on it like a car bonet' and trying my best!

Hello everyone and hello to my NEW SUBSCRIBERS! ❤️🇮🇳

We have spent the last 5 days in Kolkata capturing the rhythms of life from our local apartment inside one of the oldest quarters in the city, to attending the Kolkata International Film Festival and meeting the working president of Kolkata Cinematique!

We have been truly welcomed by India and were very grateful for everyone’s hospitality :)

We also visited the ​⁠@leprosymission to take a look at the tireless work of the Kolkata chapter in offering free medical treatment, free prosthetics and equipment, and education outreach and support for schools and homes concerning skin and eye conditions - it was a truly inspiring experience and I hope I can make a great video for them and rid the works of stigma of Leprosy!

We are now off to Darjeeling and enjoy some cooler temperatures (and tea!!) I’ll be trying to release videos every Wed (therapeutic 360 videos) and Sat (main videos!)

Hello YouTube family,

This post is more personal than you might be used to but some things are important to discuss if it can help someone you love.

My mum has tongue cancer and the unknown of when her last day is (today, tomorrow, 2 years from now) is taking over her life.

So to try and take her mind off it I’m starting a project called 'Kicking the Bucket-List with Mum´. It’s a heartfelt video series where I take my mum around the world virtually — through live video calls, real-time travel storytelling, VR adventures and expeditions — so she can experience the world again, even from her sofa. I'll also be creating a documentary taking a look at how other cultures face death.

She unfortunately cannot travel physically because of her condition and a previous back injury, so I will be setting up immersive video call adventures to take her mind of things, and as a therapeutic tool.

I am also partnered with Dorothy House Hospice where I will be providing therapeutic videos for their VR catalogue so their residents and patients can enjoy world travels too in their final chapter of life.

Hello to all our old and NEW subscribers! We are so happy that you have decided to follow our journey in this new season of life!

This Sunday our first episode of 'In Search of Netflix' will be released! But maybe you'd like to actually know what it is!

Me and carry have always dreamt of becoming adventure explorers, photographers and filmmakers and EVENTUALLY having our own show on one of the streaming platforms!

In Search of Netflix follows us as we try to make this dream a reality by overloading the americas, seeking out unique, thrilling, heart-warming and inspirational stories as we go! Of course, the YouTube channel name is Life Done Different so we'll be investigating the different lives people live within the many modern and traditional cultures we'll explore to hopefully bring you wisdom to help us all live all full life!

We're so very excited to finally have this series come to life and we're literally throwing all we have at it!

TODAY marks the first day of the rest of our lives as we try to make it as travel filmmakers! 😅🥳

We are Life Done Different and we are setting off on a global adventure in our first filmed-together-series ‘Around the World in 80 Ways’ where we’ll be immersing ourselves in new cultures, experiences, transport and jobs to share other humans’ wisdom about living a fulfilled life!

This is something we have both been dreaming about for a long time (and talking about ever since we met) and it finally feels good to be able to get to a point where we can release videos every 2 weeks :)

Our trip started in #cali (California), then we flew down to Mexico, hunted for a van to convert and we’ll be heading south from there!
