Cookie says hi to all you lovely people and relays the message of Katz that he’s still working on the next youtube video (which originally was supposed to be for last Wednesday) because he has been swamped with household chores for the past 4-5 days: laundry, grocery, repairs, restocking, Cookie’s litter box, etc. And Katz also got diarrhea again because he did not notice sooner that his Metamucil (expiry 2026) has gone bad prematurely 😹 🤦♂️

It’s 1:10am right now, and I just finished folding the family laundry in my room.
So, I got out to put the stack of clothes into the cabinets, and first thing I see is a horrifying shadow person dancing and jumping several feet away from me. And I yelped.
Turns out, it’s just Cookie trying to catch a damn mosquito.

Cookie was planning to escape from the backyard, so I ran to catch her. Left foot slipped on the muddy concrete, while right knee slammed on the pavement as I tried to stop falling over and possibly hit my head on the nearby water pump. 😹🤦♂️ I’m okay though.

So, apparently the fever last Wednesday (and milder bouts even now) was due to viral gastroenteritis, which I may have gotten from the hospital last Monday when I brought my dad for his followup checkup after his stroke.
Even though I washed my hands upon arriving home, I remember touching my eyes during the drive home. That's probably how it got me.
Luckily, symptoms are mild. The fevers are also milder now, but the tummy issues are very inconvenient.
I'll get back to recording and editing for the channel after I finish a few nighttime chores in the house.
