व्यासोच्छिष्टं जगत् सर्वम्।
There is nothing under the Sun that Vyasa has not touched upon.
Whatever anyone speaks/writes is something already uttered/written by Vyasa.
धर्म, अर्थ,काम तथा मोक्ष के विषय में जो भी ज्ञात है वो सब महाभारत में है। जो यहाँ है वह अन्यत्र भी है और जो यहाँ नहीं है, वह कहीं नहीं है।
"व्यासोच्छिष्टं जगत्सर्वं",इसी.कारण कहा जाता है।
