Top Line Overview
Aug 7, 10:22 AM: Timestamp when this diagnostic status snapshot was captured.
Noise -96 dBm: Background RF noise floor at your radio antenna.
Values around -95 dBm to -115 dBm are optimal (lower/more negative numbers indicate less interference). -96 dBm is a normal, healthy reading for standard ambient noise.
Traffic Stats
Traffic: TX 109 / RX 307 (D: 90)
TX 109: Transmitted Packets — Total RF packets sent out by your node since its last boot/reset.
RX 307: Received Packets — Total RF packets your node has successfully heard over the air.
(D: 90): Duplicates — Packets received that your node had already processed (common in mesh networks using managed flooding).
Relay Activity
Relays: 100 (Canceled: 13)
Relays 100: Total packets your node repeated for neighboring nodes to help extend their reach across the mesh.
(Canceled: 13): Packets your node scheduled to relay but cancelled before transmitting (usually because another nearby node already retransmitted the message first, saving airtime and preventing collisions).
Network Mesh Status
Nodes: 38 online / 109 total:
38 online: Nodes actively seen broadcasting or responding recently.
109 total: Total unique nodes stored in your node's database cache.
Uptime: 59m 22s: Time passed since your node was powered on or rebooted.
Error Metric
Bad 66:
Total corrupted, unparseable, or invalid packets received (failed checksums/CRC errors).
Having some bad packets is normal in LoRa environment due to weak signals or overlapping transmissions (collisions). However, if Bad counts rise exceptionally fast relative to total RX, it points to high local channel congestion, a poor antenna, or strong local RF interference.

Meshtastic v2.8 is going to be a big update. Here you can see that it has the added notes/canned message and the new security signing scheme XEdDSA. Interesting changes I can see is that the node name length will be capped and you can no longer share less than a mile GPS accuracy on a public channel, which makes sense for the security focus in this Meshtastic release.

I genuinely hope this issue is resolved soon so that we can all continue working happily with MeshCore. Fortunately, it hasn’t significantly impacted development, although it may have slowed it down a bit. Nevertheless, it continues to receive updates and functions as it always has.

The T1000-A GPS tracks are finally clean! 🗺️✨
After weeks of chasing a star-pattern bug (tracks kept snapping back to home between every walk point), we found the real culprit — not timestamps, but the upload pattern. The T1000-A buffers walk positions and uploads them alongside live home positions. A spatial filter at the receiver level now separates the real track from the upload anchor, and the result is exactly what you see here: a smooth, continuous walk path with no phantom home jumps.
If your SenseCAP T1000-A tracks were looking like a star map, this is the fix. Full breakdown coming soon.
