From the official OpenAI ChatGPT Release Notes dated July 29, 2025:

Standard Voice Mode will be retired in 30 days, meaning it will no longer be available after September 9, 2025.

All users will transition to the latest voice experience, simply branded "ChatGPT Voice", aimed at unifying the voice interface.

The Help Center also details that previously, users enjoyed nine distinct voices—Arbor, Breeze, Cove, Ember, Juniper, Maple, Sol, Spruce, Vale—but that era is ending.
