About Zulma Williams
We all have our share of challenges, and sometimes doubt our ability to overcome them. I am a warrior, and I made it my mission to inspire people to discover and honor the warrior inside them.
I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and immigrated to the US at age 31. At age 42, I started my Bachelor of Social Work program. I graduated at 46, in December of 2011, and two months later, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy, moved back to Argentina for three years, and in 2015 I came back to the United States.
I enrolled for the Master of Social Work programme at age 50. I did my internship, and became fully licensed in 2018. I am the founder of Dragonfly Therapy Services, and I specialise in trauma, anxiety, and depression. I survived cancer, abusive relationships, depression, and suicidal ideation, but I never considered myself a victim.
No matter what people are going through in life, I hope my message will help the audience discover and honor their own internal hero!

Words and Attention Are Expensive – Use Them Wisely
In a world overflowing with distractions, one of the most valuable assets we have is our attention. Every word spoken, every moment spent, and every conversation engaged in comes at a cost. The question is—are we investing our words wisely, or are we throwing them away on things that don’t matter?
At PODCAST with SHEILA, we believe in the power of intentional conversations. We don’t waste time on fluff or meaningless chatter. We bring you real-life experiences that inspire, challenge, and transform. Life is too short to dwell on the unnecessary.
Why Words Matter
Words shape perspectives. They build or break confidence. They heal or hurt. Every conversation we engage in has the power to either elevate us or drain us. The more we understand the weight of our words, the more we realise how crucial it is to use them effectively.
We live in a time where attention is constantly under siege—social media, notifications, endless content. But what if we became more intentional with what we consume? What if we surrounded ourselves with conversations that empower, uplift, and push us forward?
This is exactly what we do at PODCAST with SHEILA.
Join Us Live for a Conversation That Matters!
Tomorrow, we go live with an extraordinary guest—Lisa Sugarman a Boston-based author, columnist, Founder of The HelpHub, a 3x survivor of suicide loss, a crisis counsellor with The Trevor Project, a woman with many hats who is coming on to share with us her real life story.
Tune in on Tuesday, 11th March 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. UK time on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram for a conversation that will inspire you to value your words, time, and attention.
Make sure you subscribe and turn on notifications so you don’t miss out!
📌 Set a reminder. Share with a friend. Be part of the conversation.
