Be honest: how many tabs do you have open right now? đť
Itâs easy to feel like working on five things at once means getting more done. But by the end of the day, youâre left with a screen full of open windows and a feeling that you worked hard without actually finishing anything meaningful.
Multitasking is a myth. Every time you switch tasks, your brain pays a focus penalty.
Join Steve Dotto this Wednesday, September 2, for a free live session: Single-Tasking in a Multi-Tab World.
Weâre covering:
⢠Why divided attention gets tougher as your responsibilities grow
⢠How to pinpoint your biggest daily attention leaks
⢠Practical steps to protect focused, single-task time (without losing track of your daily workload)

Weâve all been there: youâre in the shower, fully focused on singing your heart out, when BOOMâthe absolute best idea for a project, a video, or a solution to a problem youâve been stuck on for weeks hits you out of nowhere.
By the time you dry off and grab a pen? Gone. Down the drain.
Hereâs the thing: your best ideas donât wait for you to sit down at a desk with a notepad. They happen when your mind is relaxed. Thatâs why keeping a quick, reliable way to capture them right on your phone is a total game-changer.
You donât need a complicated system. Just use whatâs already in your hand:
1. Voice Notes: Don't type, just speak it. Use your phone's built-in recorder or digital assistant (Google Assistant or Siri) to say, "Note to self..." before the idea slips away.
2. Simple Note Apps: Have Google Keep or Apple Notes right on your home screen. Open, type three words, and close it.
3. Audio-to-Text Apps: Use a tool like Google Keep's audio feature to transcribe your thoughts automatically while you make your morning coffee.
Stop letting your genius ideas wash away. Tech isn't here to complicate your life. It's here to hold onto the good stuff so you don't have to!
Which app do you currently use to capture your quick thoughts? Let us know in the comments below! đ

When it comes to your businessâs operational data, "just trust us" is not a strategy. đ
As business leaders, consultants, and creators, we are all eager to leverage the speed and efficiency of AI. But in the rush to adopt these tools, a critical piece often gets overlooked: foundational data privacy.
Many of the leading AI platforms state that user prompt data is siloed and excluded from training public models. Thatâs a good starting point, but relying solely on default settings isnât proactive managementâit's a gamble. Data security requires a clear, human-led strategy.
The most reliable rule of thumb is simple: protect your professional privacy boundaries at the structural level.
If a piece of information belongs exclusively to your proprietary domain, or if it contains highly sensitive individual details, it simply shouldnât touch a public AI tool. Period. We need to treat our data guardrails not as a tech hurdle, but as a core pillar of operational integrity.
Security isn't about avoiding innovation; it's about setting the parameters that allow you to innovate safely.
Over to you: What internal boundaries or privacy protocols have you established for AI within your workflow? How are you balancing efficiency with absolute data security?
Letâs share best practices in the comments. đ

Your smartphone does a lot more than just run apps. In fact, it's quietly tracking metrics that could predict future injuries or reveal the true biological age of your joints. đąđ
Most of us have no idea that weâre carrying a clinical-grade diagnostic tool with us every single day.
This week on Webinar Wednesday, weâre pivoting from our usual tech tutorials to explore the hidden "Medical Bay" inside the devices you already own. Steve is breaking down exactly where these hidden mobility data points are hiding and how to turn your everyday tech into an automated home wellness clinic.
Want to know what your phone is trying to tell you about your health? Join us live.

Not every new app will make you productive.
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is:
â Stop switching tools
â Stop chasing hacks
â Stop watching endless reviews
And finally learn ONE system that works.
Technology should reduce stressânot create more of it.
At DottoTech, we focus on practical workflows that help you:
â Save time
â Stay organized
â Actually finish projects
Because productivity isnât about doing more.
Itâs about making things easier.
