Tanya Leintz - Invidious

Inspired by nature, Tanya has always been attracted to the outdoors. She learned at a very young age how to plant and care for her mother and grandmother’s gardens. This manifests through Tanya’s whimsical watercolor landscapes. They represent a dreamlike, imaginary world full of simple and uncomplicated vivid floral and organic shapes. In contrast, the architecture is bland in color and formation and seems to be floating without a permanent spot within the serene painting. This represents the variation between human existence and the untouched magical surroundings of earth. The playful scenery symbolizes the hope for peacefulness and tranquility on our precious planet.

I always loved to paint or draw eyes when I was younger. Instead of paying too much attention in class, I would draw them. I never knew why eyes were my thing, but it has stuck with me into my adult years. 🤷🏻‍♀️
