I am making the body horror video. I am looking forward to seeing what people think of it. BUT:
My autistic self feels the distinct need to make one thing perfectly clear:
NOWHERE WITHIN THE VIDEO will the word 'trans' be even mentioned, or alluded to- because never, never, in all my years of watching any of the body horror movies I'll be talking about (as a straight- PLEASE DON'T call me cis- white female) has that particular word ever entered into it, for me.

'The Substance' is the only one that remotely fits the descriptive- but even then, I think it's debateable; because Elizabeth Sparkle's issue is not something that's been within her since childhood, or anything like that! Her issue is born of vanity, and the solution is something a mysterious group aims at people(, because they know how vain people are, and how much some people would love to start again), and that she injects into herself. You get what I mean, don't you? ;)

Don't get me wrong! I can appreciate why there are people who think of the genre that way! (Cuz, god knows, everybody processes and sees themselves in things, and goes about this life in their own ways, etc, etc!) But for me personally; no! :) I refuse to let modern ways of thinking colour how I view or talk about my favourite movies! You're entitled to your opinion, which conversely means I'm entitled to mine.

AND IF I SEE ANY COMMENTS TRYING TO HAMMER THE POINT HOME, or get arsey with me for daring to feel differently; know that the comment will simply be deleted, and if it persists; the section itself will be paused.
