Daniel Barnett, Barrister

I'm Daniel Barnett, a barrister from London and the presenter of the LBC Legal Hour. I'm here to help you understand all about English law (other parts of the UK have similar laws, but there may be differences) and to answer common questions.

I produce videos explaining employment law, criminal law, family law, and will be adding other areas soon. I read all comments in the videos, so if there's a particular video you'd like me to record, just ask.

My channel is for anyone looking for legal help who can't afford a lawyer, as well as law students and CAB advisors. I've written 12 legal texbooks and, have represented a Royal Family, international airlines, one of TV’s Dragons from Dragon’s Den, and a former Chancellor of the Exchequer amongst hundreds of SMEs and individuals.

Please *subscribe* to this channel. A good video to start with is 15 ways to get free legal advice - youtube.com/watch?v=uJfdykS5jtU .

I'm presenting a course (£) in a few weeks, which covers (amongst other things):-
- the new laws on compulsory vaccinations for care homes
- update on compulsory vaccinations for other employers
- how tribunals are dealing with the Covid cases from the first lockdown, as they begin to be decided

A large number of comments on my video about whether the government could force you to have the coronavirus vaccine asked me about indirect compulsion, i.e. through creating a second class citizenry of those who refused to have the vaccine and were denied access to restaurants, gyms, pubs, cinemas and other services as a result.

So I've spent some time researching the issue, and have recorded a new video answering precisely that question.

Hi - this is a really important video if you're in the UK and need legal help. I go through fifteen different places you can get legal help without paying, including charities, government funded advice centres, and free consultations from solicitors. Let me know what you think.
