I was surprised with the update since I've been off socials for sometime, but I'm also frustrated that the day my 8.5+ years of content creation should've been celebrated...instead got ruined by YouTube being an unfair platform for its creators.

I never applied for monetization, because I knew in the past Etienne had similar comp's and their entire channel got demonetized despite it not being their main focus. I love the double standards with YouTube how some comp channels are completely fine while others aren't, but if you've been around the YouTube scene this should be nothing new. You see this all the time with smaller content creators having no voice to reach out.

Being off socials continues to let my mind grow and think further about my life more. For the first time I'm really questioning whether or not my efforts are being towards the right place. Real life getting in the way? Sure, but instead YouTube automating an action I didn't ask for? Then fuck YouTube and your respect towards content creators.

Whether or not it's a break, my interest with Pump is generally fading away and the time investment I put towards YouTube is simply something I have no desire, or real drive or energy towards anymore, it really feels forced and so much harder to do than it once was. My judgement may change in the future, but I have left a few final videos/projects in the works, it will be evident when my time comes.

The amount of support and love I've received throughout my time here is one to remember. Seeing so many parts of the world unite under Pump will be a memory I will cherish. Andy as a 5th grader, you finally did it. No, you didn't get 10 million subs (LOL, honestly thank god I didn't) but instead you got a sizable supportive community that's so much more. that chapter of my life is complete, I'd say~
