Back in 2023 a bloke in his mid 30s was going through an early mid-life crisis, getting all nostalgic and buying up throwback football items off eBay... He decided to document some of the items bought on Instagram and then later here on YouTube... Ry's 90s Nostalgia swiftly morphed into Ry's Football Paradise, a name given to the dusty shed that memorabilia lived in. A random idea to Vlog a game at the beginning of the 23/24 season at Villa Park came to life and with no idea "football vloggers" were even a thing, the channel kept evolving... ⚽️ The 23/24 season was spent exploring English football stadiums, through tours and learning about the history of iconic grounds. That season ended with a trip to Germany which completely changed his whole outlook on football. Obviously I'm referring to myself - Ryan (not Rhys as some people think my name is) 🤣 ...Germany made me fall in love with football again. No longer was this a channel just for fun and an excuse for me to explore my geeky interest in video editing... It became a documentation of my travels and a showcase to those back home - about everything we're missing out on with the commercialisation of the English game 💔 Needless to say I re-found my love of English football over the past 6 months through the EFL and as you saw in the Hereford video - Non League 🍻 The channel will continue evolving, not just to grow, but because my own football fandom evolves all the time. We've been fortunate to pick up sponsorships along the way and this channel has somehow become my main "job" but in reality the driving force behind it all has been my need in life to have a creative outlet. We saw a powerful message about mental health in the last video and I've suffered with depression in the past also - but I've found creativity is my escape. Creating something from nothing, albeit a YouTube video, keeps me focussed and sane. I love football, but creatively I also want to do more... So this channel will always be my baby, my main priority but stay tuned as a 2nd channel is coming in 2 weeks time - a channel outside of football 😊 Thank you for taking the time to support the channel so far and I'm excited to hit that big 100k whenever that may be... Lastly... this weekend we have a big video to celebrate the 50k milestone... 👀 - Ry (Ryan) livin' in a happy little bubble... aka FOOTBALL PARADISE 🏝️

Ry Does the 92 returns this Wednesday for an all LONDON CLASH 🍻 It was gonna be Oxford v Reading this week but after that got postponed I decided to choose a ground I've been wanting to visit for a long time - The Valley ⚽️ Charlton Athletic v QPR in EFL Championship action 🔥

Next week we return to Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 This time to experience Matchday 👉🏾 Celtic v Aberdeen along with Hibs v Hearts (Edinburgh Derby) 🍻 I’ve also got a secret overseas weekend away before heading to Orlando for a couple weeks on holiday on September 22nd, so Ry Does the 92 will take a back seat until Oxford v Reading in a couple weeks time & then resume in October 😊 Lots of variety going forward with non-Matchday videos on shirts, etc… crazy to almost be at 50,000 Subscribers - thank you so much for supporting the channel over the past few years! ⚽️🏝️

A change of plan for this weekend & MatchDay RAW / Ry Does the 92 😅 Unfortunately Bristol Rovers v Newport County never went to “General Sale” and I don’t know anyone with previous purchase history so tickets were a no go… 🎫 🚫 As a back up we have another local “derby” (use the term loosely) here in the South West of England with Swindon Town (around 50 minutes away from my gaff) v Cheltenham Town (where I live) so I’m excited by this EFL League 2 encounter and will look out for future Bristol Rovers fixtures! 🍻 …p.s. There’s been a lot of Bristol-related content lately, filmed a shirt video video with ‪@R2Sfootball‬ in the week there too 🤣 so maybe it’s good to explore somewhere new! ⚽️🏝️ -Ry

IT'S BACK 🔥 Ry Does the 92 returns with an EFL Championship opener between BRISTOL CITY & MILLWALL 🍻 In Series 2 we'll be based in the South West and will be uploading 2 videos for every English groundhop. Video 1 will be the MatchDay Vlog, all about the game itself, for a new series called MATCHDAY RAW. Video 2 will follow the same format we did in Series 1 with the focus on the Home Club & Stadium 🏟️ Rating on Fan Atmosphere / Stadium Aesthetic / Food & Drink / Matchday Experience... Still ticking off the "3 Ps" of course (PIE / PINT / PIN BADGE) ⚽️ The 92 series will be uploaded a couple days after Matchday Raw as I like to spend more time on the edit and giving you the most polished entertainment possible 👍🏽

Wasn’t the opening result we wanted as Bochum fans but credit to Hertha who were the better team & deserved the win… 5 hours after getting back to the hotel - we’re BACK UP with a 4 hour drive to Magdeburg (and then Wolfsburg) - so it was a decision whether to sleep for 5 hours or edit the video… as I’m the driver today I chose SLEEP 😁 Sorry for those who’s messages I missed about meeting up - it’s been a crazy 24 hours already and let’s make it an even crazier weekend! 👍🏾 Bochum video probably coming Monday…
