One of the reasons I had to stop editing movies and shows is that an increasing number of my edits are being blocked worldwide. As much as editing was a fulfilling experience, the risks are too high, and it's clear that us editors cannot claim these edits as "our content," as evidenced by these claims and blocks. It's a shame.

Hence why I began focusing more on original content over at ‪@ArisonArchive‬ (and on Its related Instagram).

Thank you all for absolutely everything, but It's time to walk new ventures. 🤍

Over the last two years, this channel and Its dedicated community have brought many new elements to my life that I am very grateful for. The edits, voiceovers, and music have truly been an experience to work on and I've learned a lot through this process. Still, more importantly, at least to me, the comments and interactions from all of you guys who have found meaning through the work I have displayed have been the most valuable to me, so thank you very much, my fellow viewers!


I've also made many new friends since I entered this territory, and so, to all of those who will stick with film/show editing, I wish them the best and all the strength to continue on that path. And for those who, like me, are departing this route, I wish you the courage to break through new ice and discover other creative potentials; for we all have them!

With this announcement, I officially "resign" from this channel in order to focus on other YouTube adventures and some newly established changes in my personal life. It's not easy to leave the channel behind since so much has come from it, but all things must die in the end and open the room for other potentially better things to come and take their place. - I might upload a last edit here, as a "goodbye" edit, but I cannot guarantee it (but I'll try!).

Making this change is not easy, but It's one I am comfortable with and feel is for the better. As mentioned however, I am not leaving YouTube, and you will from now on be able to see more of my original content from my main channel "Escathon" and my newly created channel "Life of Escathon" (You can find the channels on my YouTube home page). --- I will double down the commitment to the channels and really make it a platform for growth and creativity.

With all of this said, I just want to say thank you very much once again to everyone who's been a part of this channel's life and I hope for you all to stay strong in this ever-changing world. ❤️

Hey there all, I just wanted to let you know why It's been quiet with edits recently📽️🔥

➥ Firstly, thank you for all the lovely comments I receive every day on this channel! I do read them all! 🤍 (I have push-notification!) But again, It's difficult to reply to all of them since there are so many. I hope you understand!

➥ Secondly, regarding the edits. Right now in my life, I am currently in the mindset of moving and settling into a new house; but also acquiring a new car, and managing a good few day-to-day needs (work) as a Citizen of planet Earth. And then, on the other hand, I am also trying to push more original content to the platform (meaning not film/show edits) to other channels and forge an overall stronger foundation for the creative visions I have.

➛ All of this consumes so much of my time to the point where It's very hard to think and or motivate myself to focus on edits. Editing films and shows as I do on this channel has always been a fun little hobby of mine, and I intend for it to be that way and not to be a burden to uphold.

Howdy there folks! Got an update for you all, including my next upcoming edit! - I will be heading away for a couple of weeks, during this time I will be taking a little holiday for myself, and work on a few other life projects. - As for the next edit, I am about half-way through a very emotionally heavy edit that hits right at home wit the type of content that I like to make on this channel. This one will be slow, long, and very focused on telling a purposeful story. I will continue to work on this edit and finialize it when I return, so it should be ready by the end of July, or very early August! 🖤 (Hint: Picture)
