Los Angeles Was Founded by a Community majority of African Descent and History Tried to Hide It

On September 4, 1781, 44 settlers founded what would become Los Angeles.

Spanish colonial census records show that the founders were not a white or even majority-European group. They were drawn from New Spain’s multiracial population, including people classified as negro, mulato, indio, mestizo, criollo, and peninsular.

At least 10 of the 22 adult founders were explicitly recorded as having African ancestry, and when family lineages are examined, historians conclude that a substantial portion, possibly a majority, of the founding population had African descent. This is not folklore. It is documented colonial history.

Yet for generations, this reality was erased from textbooks, plaques, and public memory. In the 20th century, even official monuments stripped out racial information. It took the work of scholars and archivists, most notably Miriam Matthews, California’s first Black librarian, to restore the historical record.

I once told my ex that when I surrender, I disappear.
No ego. No grasping. Just God.

And in that surrender, perception changes.

Imagine reality the way we first learn to understand it: a three-dimensional Cartesian plane, the quiet architecture of space itself. Length, width, height. Solid. Familiar. Now add one more axis, the one we usually feel but cannot hold—time.

What I see then is not movement, but layers.
A succession of time-slices, each one a complete snapshot of what the three-dimensional world was at that precise instant. Stacked together, they form a higher reality. Not a river flowing forward, but a sculpture already complete.

In that view, nothing is waiting to happen.
Everything that has happened is happening.

From above it all, as a neutral observer, I can see the totality—every moment laid out at once. Births, choices, losses, triumphs. Even my death is not an approaching shadow, but a single, quiet coordinate on that four-dimensional plane. One point among many.

This is what it means to see nonlinearly.
Not prediction in the ordinary sense, but recognition. A remembering of what already exists in full.

That is premonition.

Fear is false evidence appearing real. The world followed by justice, followed by the star, followed by three of wands and then eight of wands. I have a strange north node and south node. My north node is of surrender, lack of control, complete trust in faith and mysticism. My south node is of control, perfection, meticulousness, mathematic accuracy, scientific inquiry.
