Excuse the crop. Melty Blood Type Lumina is going to be a main title at EVO Japan 2026!

This will be the first time in nearly 3 years that it gets the big player treatment from EVO, as the last EVO tournament for Lumina was all the way back in 2023 at that year's EVO Vegas (i was there, made it out of pools then immediately died. oh the memories...).

Do you think anything's going to come from this? I personally don't think so unless Nasu stops ********************************** himself and actually gets back to work. No matter what, this is going to be one of the biggest stages that the game has gotten in a while. There's no doubt it's going to be absolutely electrifying.

I hope you'll be watching some good Lumina in May! It'll be great. When the actual date gets closer, I'll maybe make a video about the competition but no promises.

Fellas, it may be cooked. Climax TL Top 8 VOD is gone because they took it off Twitch and the YouTube VOD starts at Losers Finals. This means no footage! I'll probably do the script for the potential recap video in the background and wait for a full VOD, but in the mean time I'm gonna find other video topics to work on.

I’m home from Climax of Night F, the swan song of the biggest and best French Bread tournament ever. I did both commentary for and played in the Type Lumina bracket, placing 17th out of 142— not too bad— and had the time of my life doing so.

This is such a wonderful event and I’m grateful to Shinobi for running it. I may do a Type Lumina recap of my own since I can’t NOT talk about this event, but I recommend checking out my man, my GOAT, ‪@arhkma_muddykipz‬ for when his Melting Core episode on Climax F will drop.

While Climax of Night as we know it may have ended, that’s absolutely not the end of the story. I will be looking forward to Combo Breaker x CoN and whatever the new project led by ‪@datafgc‬ may be. If you are interested in Type Lumina, French Bread, or just good ass fighting games, you’re not going to want to miss it. It’s going to be something special.

We read 30 valentines meetups today! They were a blast to read, though not all were created equal. Here's my personal rankings of the 30 that I read. I liked them all, but some definitely did show symptoms of being from the first year, while a few suffered from some... other issues.

Yo, Senseis. This weekend since it'll be Memorial Day here in the states Monday I thought "why stress?" and so I'll be doing back-to-back* Archive story streams. Saturday I'll be reading through all the Valentines meetups I could get (currently at 23, gonna get more by the time the stream rolls around), and Sunday I'll be REreading Volume 1 Chapter 1 so we can all get ready when Chapter 3 finally gets into full swing (shupos incoming 🤯)

Both streams will be at 6:30PST. I enjoy reading Blue Archive on stream a lot, it lets me take in what I'm reading more thoroughly and it's just plain fun. Hope to see you guys there!

My attention has been divided between life but ALSO a bunch of different video projects that I all want to see the light of day so I've been very distracted and unable to get a single one done. Senseis, I went to Anime Expo... mainly because there was Blue Archive (who woulda thought). Had a really good time. Might try to make a short lil video or do a stream going over my whole thoughts but otherwise, it's back to the dungeon for me.

Finished Volume 5 on stream, you can check the VODs at any time if you want (spoilers, it was a fantastic read). But now with that out of the way, it's time to get back to finishing up the Blue Archive anime video series. I no longer really feel the weekly obligation to pump the videos out, so I'll be taking my time, but I *will* feel empty without properly closing out my Blue Archive anime journey, so it'll be finished one way or another and then I can move onto bigger video projects.

Senseis!!! I decided I’m going to finish Volume 5 on stream tomorrow at 2PM PST since I’m off work then— I’m absolutely dying to see what comes next!! I’ll probably stream the camp event sometime this week as well, but I haven’t decided on a date for that one tbh
