This is Mooncat’s “The Glory of Innocence” at 2 coats. Love it, it’s such an easy formula and overall weird (but pretty) color 😍. Indoor you don’t see any sparkle and it’s more like a duochrome of sorts, but when the sun hits it, it’s just so fun!

"Holiday Fling" and "Wine Me Up" (both by Ella+Mila) are very similar! In most lighting they will be the same and appear to be almost black, however Holiday is the red version and Wine is the purple version. The undertones show when you hit it with direct lighting or if you see them in the sun.

A couple follow up thoughts about my nail peeling video:

- There is an ingredient in some base coats, called Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB), that can cause peeling for some people. I had heard of this from my IG DMs and also on Reddit (r/RedditLaqueristas), but I don't know enough about it to cover it on a video. However it's a good thing to keep in mind if all else fails (or even a good starting point). I cannot personally confirm nor deny since I haven't experienced this, but it's a popular enough topic in the nail community that I wanted to share it.

- Anything that causes layers of your nail to be removed, will possibly increase your peeling or your chance to develop peeling. I covered buffing just because I truly don't like it as part of a natural nail care routine, but anything else such as enhancement removal (acrylics, gels, etc), if done too often or in an aggressive manner, would have the same effect of weakening the layers of the nail.
