We’re excited to present our newest design — the Dual Acro!

-3D-printed nose gear with suspension for smooth landings
-Hybrid construction: central and nose fuselage printed with PLA+, while the wing and tail are made with LW-PLA (vase mode) — achieving maximum quality, strength, and minimum print time
-Aerobatic performance: large control surfaces and precise handling for all kinds of maneuvers
-Easy to fly: the large size and rectangular high-wing configuration make it extremely stable and beginner-friendly
-Quick-release system to easily detach the wing for transport

Due to the high quantity of requests received lately we have decided to create Bambu lab Studio settings for each Eclipson printing category.
You can download them now here: www.eclipson-airplanes.com/readbeforestartprinting
These settings have been tested in all bambu lab printers with great results. In any case the profiles will be updated over time if needed, so please if you find any parameter which can improve the quality significantly let us know. Also be aware that the printing temperatures are optimized for LW-PLA (Colorfabb) and regular PLA (Overture), you might need to adjust printing temperatures as per the recommendation of the filament manufacturer.

Here we share some pictures of the assembly process of our latest design: Bowers fly Baby. This model has many scale details such as the pilot, engines or the windscreen made out of plastic bottles. It is very relaxing to paint all those elements, although it requires a bit of hand precision to get a decent result, we should recognize that we are not experts at doing that but with a bit of patience.. I think everybody can do something nice.. if not, you just need to print it again and give it a second try . What do you think about it?
