“The Switch” came from a moment most people know but don’t like to admit.
That moment when something flips inside you.
One second you’re trying to stay calm…
and the next second you’ve already said something you can’t take back.
It’s ugly because it’s familiar.
There’s a version of ourselves that shows up in those moments.
The calm voice that sounds controlled right before it cuts someone down.
The version that convinces us we’re “being honest” when in reality we’re just angry and looking for somewhere to aim it.
“The Switch” is about recognizing that pattern.
Not pretending it’s deep.
Not dressing it up as truth.
Just admitting what it actually is.
A few seconds of control
that can leave something broken long after the moment passes.
Most of us know that version of ourselves.
