Also go check out the animatic pilot for Gamma Girl and Friends! Lots of people are working hard to make this indie show a reality! I'm happy I was approached to do this animation for the show and I hope I can do more in the future!

Hang in there! Rewrite the Stars will come eventually, but I've mostly just been preoccupied with other side projects for the past couple of months!

I've also been tossing up whether or not I should make the animatic until TADC Episodes 5 and 6 release, since the episodes would be very Jax and Ragatha based and I want to avoid any major inconsistencies with their characters. But then I remembered............ this is an AU and I can do whatever I want with it!! :)

So Rewrite the Stars is coming soon!!

I hope y'all like this one, it took me a lot more time than "The Greatest Show" so I hope it doesn't disappoint! This is one people have been asking for a while, just barely beating out "Rewrite the Stars".

If anyone's curious how Jax ended up at the travelling circus.....

"Ahh, yes, the old acrobats. The audience adored their natural chemistry and "lovers" reputation! Queenie was especially beloved with her little quirks!"

"... Well, at least one of them's still here!"

Some of the first members of the circus, Kinger and Queenie had been together predating their inclusion to the show. No matter what, they were always together. Kinger used to be kind of reserved, actually. The voice of reason in the relationship who always steered them right. Queenie was the life in the relationship, always urging him to try new things and step out of his comfort zone.

She was even the one who agreed first when Caine offered them a place in the circus way back when. Turns out, they were fantastic at it. Being an acrobat isn't easy, especially when you're working with a partner. There was a level of trust you needed. And trust in each other, they had. The crowd could see it every performance, they always seemed to be on the same page, dancing through the air like the world was made for them. Who doesn't love a good love story?

But, like Kaufmo, something about Queenie started to change. She seemed to realize something and it scared her. No matter how many times Kinger asked what was wrong, she couldn't explain it, like she was scared of him realizing the same truth. They couldn't communicate as well after that.

They WERE getting old.. maybe she felt it was time to retire but he wished she would've told him before she disappeared off the face of the earth...

"Our most lovely performer here to move your hearts like no other, it's Gangle! No matter if it's singing, theatre or even acting as a contortionist, Gangle's talent knows no bounds!"
"Give her applause she deserves, folks!"

A weak and timid pushover. That's what she always saw herself as. Every time she looked in the mirror, all she saw was the sad, teary eyed frown of a wimp who let anyone walk all over her if it meant avoiding conflict. She could barely even get a word out most of the time.

But Gangle ended up getting her lucky break once she found herself at the Circus. People.. wanted to see her for once. Needed to HEAR her. Always one for the arts, she donned her new masks and realized immediately what she was meant to do.

Finding her voice allowed her to put on incredibly vocal performances that amazed the audience. Her ability to act let her put on riveting theatre shows in between acts. And her ribbony body even allowed her to take over the stage, capturing the love and adoration of everyone in the crowd. She never once doubted the circus was where she was meant to be.

But a porcelain mask, as beautiful as it is, is so, so fragile.

"Put your hands together for the most talented juggler in the circus! From pins, to flaming knives, to their own LIMBS, watch Zooble dazzle the show with their amazing juggling act!"

"Look! The crowd absolutely LOVES every bit of them!"


The only thing Zooble remembers about their pre-circus life is that they'd struggled to find a place where they could be left alone in peace, unbothered and unjudged. Even when they were alone, they could never... sit with themselves properly. Why was it so difficult?

All these swapped out limbs, rearranging in places that didn't feel quite right. They weren't sure if they'd ever get away from the feeling.

When Zooble found themselves in the circus one day, being recruited by this ringmaster they had never met before, it raised immediate alarm bells.
A circus? Zooble didn't feel like being paraded around in some kind of freak show, it was the last thing they needed. They didn't need to be exploited and abused for the sake of entertaining a shallow crowd. To be laughed at and marvelled at for the world to see.

.. But Caine was more interested in their natural talent for juggling. Turns out having 4-3 arms at all times is handy for that. So they gave it a try. And it.. wasn't so bad. It felt good to excel for once. To be loved instead of hated.

Zooble never tried to leave the tent again.

"Oh my! It seems you found an old poster of our former mime, Kaufmo! He was a natural when it came to physical comedy, didn't even NEED a voice!"

"Unfortunately, his act has been discontinued! We sure will miss him!"

Kaufmo started off in this circus as a colourful, optimistic clown. He told jokes, both good and bad, and was your typical comic any good circus would need!
However, at some point, he started to change... started to act different. Like he was scared. Hell if anyone knows why, the man lost his colour and voice before he could even begin to explain. What a strange phenomenon.

... But the show must go on whether he'd like it or not. The audience was waiting for him to deliver. He kept performing as a mime instead of a clown, trying to find ways to deliver the crowd gut-busting laughs just like before!!

.. One bad show is all it takes.

As far as everyone else knows, he's finally gone and left the circus to live out life out of the spotlight. They sure will miss him!

"The newest addition to our glorious troupe, it's the one and only Pomni! She can do anything and everything, a real jack of all trades!"

"She may not remember where she came from... but she sure can put on a show!"

The first of many posters I'm making for The Greatest Travelling Circus AU or Circus!AU !! Pomni's the new jester who was brought on to replace the "retired" Kaufmo!

While her forte is physical comedy, she's a jack of all trades in which she usually plays a hand in helping other acts shine as bright as they can! Pomni doesn't remember where she came from.. and neither does anyone else. But why would she want to leave when the circus is so fun and glamorous?

She doesn't yet know about what happened to Kaufmo or what happened to past performers for that matter. But apparently she's the new star of the show and a fan favorite. So she can't stop now! Besides, she's sure she can leave at any time she wants!
