An unexpected beauty treatment, with unexpected lessons 🦷

Today we learn about the world of dental lamination in Korea, which can help give the effects of whitening, Invisalign and minor reshaping all at once. I never thought too much about my teeth before this (apart from being lazy and hated going to the dentist, so ended up having to do 7 fillings at once after not going for 5 years), which lead to a low-key slow and dramatic unfolding of complex emotions 🙈

For those who have chips, gaps, noticeable unevenness, this could be a great solution to helping achieve a confident smile! But at the same time, it's precisely the little quirks and imperfections that make us uniquely beautiful. So it made me really think... What's the real cost of beauty? Where do these standards and ideals come from?

Appreciate all the work Smile Studios did, they're truly amazing people ❤️✨If there's one thing I would say if you're thinking of altering or (permanently) changing anything–since a lot of you ask about facial, body & dental treatments–is to take your time and ask lots of questions. Time is your best friend. Time can prepare, it can heal and it can reveal your own wisdom to see if it's what you need to do. We want to make sure that it's something you will still enjoy 25+ years later 😊 So give it time, we're growing, changing & blooming each day and there's no rush~ You're beautiful, my beauties.
