Out of all the videos on my channel, this one from almost a year and a half ago is the one that has been watched the most. I don't know why this one resonated with people (maybe it's the mushroom t-shirt?), but today it reached 10,000 views! So, thank you if you watched it. Hi Folks, with the end of De Minimis in the US and everything else going on around the world right now, I know many of my international customers are a little unsure of buying things from overseas. So, I wanted to give you a brief update. Although a lot of small businesses in the UK are putting US shipping on hold for now, I don't want to lose my lovely US customers, so I've decided to keep going. As my art dolls can be categorized on customs forms as 'original works of art', in theory they should be exempt from any import duty, so customers shouldn't have any tariffs to pay on delivery. Please be aware there may be some delays with USPS.

I stopped shipping to the EU and Northern Ireland last year due to GPSR. However, it has now been clarified that original art sent under the correct customs code is exempt from those rules (although some countries will charge VAT on delivery). So I have thankfully, now been able to restart shipping to the EU and Northern Ireland. Germany is unfortunately still on hold for now.

In summary, I will be carefully labelling packages to avoid customs fees where possible, but sellers can't control whether you are charged tax when you receive your order, as this is up to the country where the customer lives. I'm also aware that things are changing constantly in the US. The only thing I can do, is offer my newsletter subscribers a standing 10% discount on any order from my website. My little fae doll Odette Applepip was something very new and different when I created her last year. Whenever I'd made ears before, they were always animal ears on the top of the head. Pointed faery or elf ears were a little more challenging, as I needed to make sure they were positioned exactly right - There was no hiding them with hair!
