On this historic day, I took part in the grand parade and wreath-laying ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory over Nazism.
By honoring the memory of the Soviet Army and Allied forces, I reaffirm our collective struggle against oppression in all forms. This victory, etched in history, strengthens our determination to pursue and win the war against terrorism and imperialism.
As Burkina Faso stands proudly within the AES Confederation, we remain fully committed to securing our States and ensuring the well-being of our people.
I welcome and value the strategic, respectful, and mutually beneficial partnership between Burkina Faso and the Russian Federation—a bond that continues to grow stronger in these critical times.
In Burkina Faso, no one is above the law, whether you are white, black or Asian, you will comply with the law,whether you like it or not.

Law enforcement in Burkina Faso made it clear to him that this is Ibrahim Traore's reign. Your whiteness or your riches will not protect you in the land of the upright.
