Hi everyone!

Nadia here. Many of you recommended we watch Andor and I have finally done it. I must say, with no surprise to many of you, I freaking loved the 💩 out of it! I would love to do a review but Jake didn’t watch it so posting this here so you all can pressure him into watching the show instead of getting sleep. Who needs sleep anyway when you’ve got Andor? Anyway, I hope they make more shows like this.

Also, here are some shows we’ve watched lately:

- The Rehearsal: We love Nathan for You and the first season of The Rehearsal so it’s no surprise that we like this season as well. The Sully episode (S2, E3 “Pilot’s Code”) was hilarious. Jake still has an episode to go, but Nadia watched it all and thought the last episode was less conclusively satisfying than S1’s finale but still a great episode. Definitely recommend. Streaming on Max.

- The Studio: Nadia finished it, Jake didn’t. Very funny, especially the last episode. We like that it’s short, witty and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Recommend. Streaming on Apple TV.

- Your Friends & Neighbors: Nadia watched it, Jake didn’t. It’s okay. Some episodes are good while others felt boring. It feels like the main characters don’t really grow up but maybe that’s the point. Nadia found the Mel character annoying. Recommend only if you’re bored or have run out of shows to watch. Streaming on Apple TV.

- Murderbot: Nadia watched it, Jake didn’t. Very funny and a good time. She loves the humor and thinks Alexander Skarsgård did a great job playing the security robot. Based on a book, which we haven’t read. Honestly shows like this (and Slow Horses, Severance) is why we are still subscribed to Apple TV. More episodes to air but highly recommend so far.

-The Four Seasons: Nadia is watching this, Jake isn’t. The show is based on the 1981 film of the same name. She is on episode 5 so far. The first episode was a little slow but then it picked up a little. Great ensemble cast. The plot line is not original, but stories like this seems to be universal so it makes sense why we keep recreating them. She likes that it portrays relationship complications between different couples and it’s definitely interesting but can also be annoying. She recommends watching it if you like stories about divorces, love, heartbreaks and friendships with comedy here and there. Streaming on Netflix.

Is anyone a fan of Severance? Jake and I were hooked after watching the first season and we watched the first couple of episodes of the second season and it does not disappoint in my opinion! Although if Season 2 ends as amazingly as Season 1 and they take three more years to make Season 3, it will drive me nuts!!

Baby wants to be with me a lot right now so still don’t have time to go to the movies (hopefully soon though) but I’ve been watching a lot of shows! Besides Severance, here are a few other shows I have been hooked on:
- Dexter: Original Sin (Season 1 not wrapped yet so hopefully the ending doesn’t disappoint but so far so good)
- Shrinking (Finished season 2 and really liked it. It’s a slower paced show but I like the humor and the character arc. Not a "when is the next season coming out, please hurry" vibe but definitely am looking forward to seeing more.)
- Slow Horses (I have rewatched this show more times than I want to admit and I can’t get enough! Apple, please expedite the next few seasons!!)
- The Empress (Loved this when it first came out and watched the new season with subtitles and I can definitely rewatch this again!)

A couple of shows I finished but I won’t rewatch unless we are doing a deeper analysis on it for the channels:
- The Morning Show (finished all the episodes so far and rewatched the first couple of seasons. It’s a train wreck but entertaining if you have someone to talk sh** with)
- This is Us (It is a great show but so sad because of what happens to Jack so I won’t rewatch because almost every episode makes me cry and that’s a little awkward to do at times while 🤱)

Too many shows that I started but didn’t finish so won’t go into those but curious to know your thoughts on these or any other that you’ve watched.
