This year’s Bengali New Year finally was sorted. Spent some quality time with family, started the day with hope, and stayed busy at work throughout. In between, I made time for my different hobbies. Ended the day on a perfect note with good food, a good movie, and a visit to Kali Bari.
There was a time when Poila Baisakh which felt so different—full of joy. Life had less chaos, fewer worries, and hardly had the mental or physical stress that we speak of today. School would be closed, homework was minimal, and the day began with wearing a new frock, visiting the temple, and accompanying my father to small business enterprise,used to get goodies.
Evenings spent watching cultural programs on TV, and the rest of the day unfolded in the warmth of family and friends. Those moments were uncomplicated, yet deeply fulfilling.
Today, life seems to revolve around work, responsibilities, and constant tension. Yet, in my own little ways, I still try to revive that old magic—to hold on to the essence of those beautiful, simpler Poila Baisakh days.

Work Update:

14 years ago, after completing my PGPM/MBA from Globsyn, I started my professional journey as an HR Generalist in the IT sector. Focused on learning every facet of HR and worked towards building structured and effective HR setups.

Over the years, I had the opportunity to work with Stark Allied, Digitex Web Solutions, Bitcanny Technologies, and Anandpushp Technologies. With each organization, I didn’t just work—I grew alongside the company and its evolving structure.

The journey wasn’t always smooth. There were challenges, difficult experiences, and moments of uncertainty. Some situations I endured, while from others I chose to move forward, carrying the lessons. In many organizations, the scope of Human Resources is still limited and the role is often misunderstood. HR is not merely about policies, paperwork, or compliance—it is about people, culture, and building bridges between employees and employers.

It's all about : learn, unlearn, and relearn.

One thing for sure I have always tried to stay true to myself and to my work.

Arunachal Pradesh tour: আবার গেলাম পাহাড় | হঠাৎ করে দোল এর ছুটি তে ঠিক করে বেড়িয়ে পড়লাম | এবার এর গন্তব্য অরুণাচল প্রদেশ | খুব কম দিনের টুর ছিল | শনিবার অর্থাৎ ২৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি র ভোরের ফ্লাইটে করে গৌহাটি পৌঁছলাম সেখান থেকে আমাদের দুজনের জন্য গাড়ি বলা ছিল । আমরা Dirang এর উদ্যেশ্যে রওনা দিলাম ৯ টা নাগাদ, পথে কিছু খেয়ে চারিদিকে রহস্য ময় কুয়াশার মাঝে পৌঁছলাম আমাদের দিরাংয়ের হোম স্টেয়ে তে তার আগে দেখে নিলাম ভালুকপং- কমেং নদী, ঝর্না, নাগ মন্দির, Orchid Garden। রাতে গরম গরম খাবার খেয়ে শুয়ে পড়লাম সারা দিন অনেক টা জার্নি ছিল যে । পরের দিন সকাল বেলা বেড়িয়ে পড়লাম জলখাবার খেয়ে - বেশ কটা যায়না দেখে নিলাম যেমন সেলা পাস, যশোবন্ত সিং মেমোরিয়াল, Jung falls ও নদী। সেলার পথে মাঝে বৈশাখী স্পটে Snowfall ও পেলাম এতোটা ঠান্ডা পুরো জমে যাচ্ছিলাম কিন্তু Sela lake ও Mountain range দেখে মন আরো ভালো হয়ে গেলো চারিদিক বরফ আর বরফ আর নিচে Sela lake জমে গেছে । আমরা একেবারে ভীষণ খুশি। খানিক সময় কাটিয়ে সেদিন টা Dirang থেকে Tawang চলে গেলাম । Tawang এ সেদিন ছিল 0‘ temperature । আমরা রুম হিটার নিয়েছিলাম homestay তে কিন্তু তাতেও ঠান্ডা তে অস্থির লাগছিল পরের দিন অরুণাচল প্রদেশের আরেক টি আলাদা গাড়ি তে যাই বুমলা পাশের উদ্যেশ্যে । Sela Pass ছিল ১৩০০০ ফিট আর বুমলার হাইট ১৫২০০ ফিট তাই পেলাম আরো বরফ সব টাই বরফে ঢাকা ঠিক যেন এস্কিমো দের দেশ। Bumla Pass- India China border সেটি আমাদের Indian Army বোঝালেন, ছবি তুলে দিলেন আর চারিদিক টা যেন স্বপ্ন পুরী । বিকেলে তাওয়াং Monastery দেখলাম দারুন আর বিশাল তার পর দেখলাম Giant Buddha statue আর army দের Museum শেষে গেলাম মার্কেট । পরের দিন Tawang থেকে চলে গেলাম Dirang। পথে দেখে নিলাম Sela Tunnel আবারও পেলাম বরফ- দেখলাম Dirang Monastery, Dirang Sangti Valley, সেখানে চারিদিক টা এত সুন্দর বিশেষ করে পথে চোখে পড়বে চেরি ব্লসম, কমলালেবুর গাছ, Peach, Plum আর ও কত কি । ওই দিন - শেষ দিন আমাদের অরুণাচল প্রদেশ এ | পরের দিন খুব ভোরে বেড়িয়ে পড়লাম গাড়ি তে সেই Guwahati Assam এর উদ্যেশ্যে আমাদের কলকাতার ফ্লাইট ছিল রাত ৯:২০ নাগাদ এর মাঝে দেখেছি Bomdila Monastery, Hanging bridge, India Bhutan border - ওই দিন রোদ ঝলমলে দিন ছিল তাই Bomdila থেকে দেখা পেলাম পরিষ্কার Sela আর কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা পর্বত মালার কি দারুন ওটা যেন bonus তারপর দুপুরে অসমিয়া থালি খেলাম সঙ্গে রসমালাই । ফ্লাইট রাতে তাই Guwahati Airport lounge এ Dinner করে নিলাম আর ফিরে এলাম রাতে কলকাতা । বরফের রাজ্য থেকে ফিরে এলাম দারুন সব অভিজ্ঞতা নিয়ে। #arunachalpradesh #tawang #dirang #sela #bumlapass

7th February was our reception day — our Bou Bhaat. Just like the rest of our wedding, it was a beautifully traditional Bengali celebration filled with rituals and customs. It was a grand occasion. It made even more special with the presence of our family, friends, and colleagues.
