Just saw that the Beastgrip DOF MK3 adapter is back in stock. It's routinely out, so if you've been interested in one you might check it out. Btw, I have no connection with Beastgrip other than making videos about their stuff, so just sharing the info for those who have asked me about it. -BC

Check out my latest podcast episode on my 2nd YT channel... Talking about Sean Baker and how he made a feature film shot on an iPhone back in 2015 and now he's won 4 Academy Awards. Pretty cool.

You can also listen to this on Apple, Spotify or pretty much everywhere podcasts are available.

Thanks!

If you've made a movie (shot on an iPhone or not), how do you plan to distribute it? Check out this podcast on that topic (from my second channel) and learn about some of the best options today for indie filmmakers to make money - and what I'm considering to do for my latest film, "Casey Makes A Mixtape". -BC

Back before we had iPhones or mirrorless cameras to shoot our short films on we had... film. :)

I just uploaded a 16mm short to my other YT channel that I thought I'd share here, too. It was shot way back in 2001 using a Russian K-3 wind-up 16mm camera. And the camera was so loud we couldn't record the sound at the same time, so we'd cut and then do the scene again for audio only, recording it to a DAT recorder. Fun times!

Anyway, check out a bit of short film nostalgia at the link below. -BC
