What can I say about James Gunn’s “Superman”? It’s definitely a Superman movie my Dad would have enjoyed. 4/5.

I plan to give this a second watch for sure, but since it’s still fresh in my head, this take on Superman brought back the comic book campiness. David Corenswet really impressed me with his performance, especially as Clark Kent. Also, he’s got a great speaking voice. I can see him doing more Superman voice over roles.

Rachel Brosnahan exceeded my expectations for Lois Lane. I knew she was going to do well with this character and definitely brought back the classic Lois Lane.

Nicholas Hoult is what Jesse Eisenberg should’ve been as Lex Luthor. Another great performance.

Overall, the movie is good. Loved the cameos and introduction to more DC Superheroes. My only “issue” was the amount of jokes within the movie. James Gunn could’ve toned it down a bit more. It felt like I was watching Guardians of the Galaxy again.

And one last note, Krypto is best doggo!! 😂

It’s definitely been a while since I’ve done any podcast recordings, but I am working on remodeling my podcasting work area.

I am also no longer uploading the last Anime Frontier 2023 Press Video, the audio is just not working for me. I apologize to anyone that was looking forward to watching that interview.

Lastly, I am changing the order of episodes again 😅 I will be doing a review of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for EP 183!!
