WE are NOT living in a simulation. The problem is prior to the Industrial Revolution there were the rich and poor.. The middle class has only been around a couple hundred years and now technology is killing us. The Oligarchs would rather put millions out of work, cut costs (salaries/insurance) and make more money. That's the truth.
If AGI becomes reality, I believe, as long as the machines work seamlessly together and match the current service levels humans do, then employment will plummet. The reason is the extraordinary money companies will save without providing these salaries and medical benefits. The bottom line is everything and always has been.
Had to watch Alpha a 2nd time. Only reason the wolf pack didn’t kill him is because the boy injured the Alpha. Instead of waiting around, the pack left to fight among themselves to decide who was going to be the next Alpha. THAT is the highest priority. Just like Corporations. LOL
