Should you invest in the Saroo? It is worth the £60 I paid for it or less? Is it really THAT good?

Hello folks -

I've been away but, I have one more PCSX2 emulation vs Real PS2 hardware video!

I'm pushing 5K in some games, (mostly 1800p - 4K) and also using the texture replacement pack in selected games! (Dead Or Alive 2 in this example)

I tested over 35 games! Hopefully, the video will be out by Sunday! Or maybe Monday!

Wow...

I'm a huge fan of the Steam Deck, having owned mine since early 2023!

To see Valve's announcement on the new Steam Machine or 'Gabecube' as I will call it, along with their other hardware makes me very excited for what it could offer for those wanting an easier time with PC gaming & emulation!

With the use of the Linux OS, it'll also be a full blown PC much the same as any Windows based devices!

Up until I got a Steam Deck & a Macbook, I never thought of leaving Windows & now... I barely use that OS!

I won't get the Gabecube at launch but, if Valve slaps a competitive price, say £500 - £700 here in the UK, I'd be definitely considering it as my next desktop PC!

It sounds powerful enough too! Early 2026 here we come!

What are your thoughts on the Gabecube?

I brought a lot of physical PS3 games lately... Around 60 or so in the past two months!

It's a great time to collect PS3 titles as it's very cheap! I plan to try and get more Japanese import games as well! (I have 1 so far)

Are you collecting games for the PS3? Which is your favourite?
