2025 is winding down and with it my videos for the year. I know they've been a bit sporadic as I've been juggling posting and being on trail. I am so grateful to all of you who have followed along on my adventures and I can't wait to continue sharing them in 2026!

As we head into 2026 I'd love to hear what you'd like to see from me on this platform! I'm still working on all of my PCT videos, don't worry. But I'd love to hear what else (if anything) you'd like to see besides my thru-hikes.

I hope everyone who celebrates had a very Merry Christmas, a Happy Holidays to all, and a Happy New Year!

On September 18th, 2025, Barbie & I (Treats) touched the Northern Terminus of the Pacific Crest Trail and completed our 2025 PCT thru-hike.

I still haven’t fully comprehended what this hike meant to me. It was amazing, it was life-changing, and I’m so grateful Barbie and I got to experience this trail.

Now that I’ve let the experience soak in a bit more, I am working on my weekly recap videos. The first one should be out next week. Shorts will also still be coming out until I finish up sharing the trail.

Thank you all for following along on the adventure and I hope you’ll enjoy re-living the trail with me through my weekly recap videos ☺️

Treats & Barbie have started our adventure down the Pacific Crest Trail! 🥾

I’ll be sharing weekly-ish shorts of our adventures and the long videos will come after we finish the trail!

My Fears and Gear videos are still coming. I’ve been battling a cold right before leaving for trail so the videoing has been slow. But those will be out soon!

2024 was full of so many amazing adventures 🥰

I got my sea legs on my first AND second ever cruise vacation.

My passport finally has stamps in it!

I experienced the magic of the German (and one in France) Christmas markets.

My sister and I ran more magical miles at our second RunDisney Wine & Dine Weekend and our 4th RunDisney race weekend.

I experienced a new National Park off my bucket list. New River Gorge National Park was everything I dreamed it would be.

Barbie and I went on adventures to Crowders and Hanging Rock State Park as well as a few other NC State Parks that were new to Barbie.

And I enjoyed many, many treats in wonderful places.

Happy New Year & Happy Trails friends. I can’t wait to see what trails 2025 takes us down.

I haven't focused on much the last few days or to be honest the last few weeks. My mind is still reeling from the devastation that Hurricane Helene wrecked upon some of my favorite places.

Places that I hold near and dear, places that have my heart, places that have quite literally saved me, places that I've literally walked to - I am heartbroken but the outpouring of love I have seen from WNC, all around NC, and beyond has brought me to tears. Everyday it is proven to me more and more how much your community matters. It will take time, but we will get through this and I have to hold hope that we will come back stronger.

Many have asked me how they can help, who they can donate to. It's not perfect, but this blog holds a lot of info to help WNC, ETN, SWVA, trail towns, small artists, bookstores, and more. Some ideas on how you can support all the places that hold so much magic in these small towns ❤️‍🩹 ... and it also has my rambly thoughts about why I love so many of these small towns so much.

Spent the weekend in the the wild & wonderful state of West Virginia at New River Gorge NP. It was wild, it was wonderful, and it reminded me of how much I love exploring WV 💙

I’ll have a video up in a few weeks of our adventures. Including all the trails we wandered and of course, the treats we savored.
