Prices are out for the new Petrol Mercedes CLA Hybrid….and it’s under £40k! 🥳

This is excellent news as now it means it doesn’t fall into the high car tax bracket for the UK, full specs below 👇

To clarify this isn’t a plug-in hybrid…it’s a self regenerative hybrid. So think of it like a newer improved version of the existing mild hybrid. It has 1.3kWh battery which is there to power a new electric motor which outputs 22kW and 200Nm of torque assisting the also new 1.5L engine. This means at urban speeds it can travel around on electric alone. It can apparently even recuperate in all 8 gears!

🚗 Engines: CLA 180, CLA 200 & CLA 220 4MATIC
🔋 Battery: 1.3kWh
💨 Performance: 136 hp, 163hp & 190hp (all with an additional +30hp for the hybrid element)
💰 OTR starting from £38,700 rises to £53,400 (depending on the package)

Pricing and specification is out for the new Mercedes GLC in the UK!

🚗 Range up to 406 miles WLTP
🔋 Battery 94 kWh
💨 Performance 489hp (0 - 62 in 4.3 sec)
⚡️ Charge 10% to 80% in 22 mins @ 320kW
💰 OTR starting from £60,350 rises to £73,350 (depending on the package)

For comparison, Mercedes-Benz’s EQC was priced £72,335 to £81,225. Meaning it’s up to £11,985 cheaper than the outgoing model. With 151 more miles range, a larger battery, almost a second shaved off the 0 - 62 and an extra 180hp!

I mean….£60k is a lot for a car, but if you had the previous Mercedes EQC, this upgrade is a no brainer on those stats alone!
