Today's video at 4pm features the Audi A3 Sportback! 👀 But a BIG problem... 👇

I had this on test one month ago and with existing video reviews and subscriber milestone videos I was working on, I've only just got round to posting now. But Audi have since released a facelift for this car 😫

Very annoying...but I have a completed review so it would be shame to throw away a week's testing, filming and editing! Guess it gives me an excuse to get the new one on test 👀

Changes on the new one from the looks of it include:

- New Steering Wheel
- Different Styled Screens and possibly a new multimedia system generation
- Touch controls for Climate Adjustment

I'll try and get it on test when it's actually out and I guess I'll have to moan about the climate control going to touch again on another car😂

Whoa okay! 200k!?!

Over 6 years ago I decided to put together a few videos and upload them onto YouTube. Little did I know that it was going to change my life completely & become my full time job. Today my channel has just surpassed 200k Subscribers!

And to celebrate, I have put together a special behind the scenes video explaining how my YouTube channel began and how it runs today. Thank you to everyone who has watched, commented, subscribed or helped me build what it is now and special thanks to Sandown Mercedes for being so supportive from the very start, I wouldn’t be here without them and most importantly I wouldn’t be here without you.

Thank you, I’m speechless! 🙏

I also have big plans for my channel going forward….keep an eye out! 👀

For now back to editing and reviewing the car I’ve currently got on test!

In just a couple of days, my channel will reach a massive milestone of 🥳 200k subscribers! 🥳

I have a very special video planned that I’ll release shortly after which actually shares how my channel started & some things I have never shared publicly online. From the looks of it, it’ll be Wednesday 26th or Thursday 27th this week, so keep an eye out! If you’ve enjoyed even JUST ONE of my videos, this one is worth a watch. I’ve shared it with a few people already and they’ve absolutely loved it!

Effective from today, sadly I’m ending my YouTube Memberships.

For those of you that didn’t know what this was I had a small ‘Join’ button next to the usual subscribe button on my YouTube Channel. This allowed people to join and support my channel as paying members each month for the price of a small coffee.

In exchange for supporting my channel, I posted behind the scenes videos, about new cameras, how I edited YouTube Thumbnails and even how I filmed a tutorial with some outtakes from the videos I had worked on throughout the year. In addition to this, as I do this full time as a job, I often work 2 weeks ahead just in case something happens in terms of the production of videos (this enables me to post weekly without missing a single week. I’ve not missed a week since the very beginning! 🤓)

When I enabled this back in late 2022, there was quite simply the ‘Join’ button and a link that I had placed in relevant videos in the description which was perfectly fine, minimal promotion my side.

Recently YouTube has changed this and started surfacing these behind the scenes videos and early access ‘Members First’ videos pushing them to you on the homepage, effectively teasing them. While this was good for gaining new members, I did not want YouTube to do this & had I known YouTube were going to do start promoting ‘Members first’ videos this way without the option to disable it, I would NOT have enabled this feature years ago.

Because of this I have now taken steps to disable YouTube memberships here and take the memberships program off platform over to Patreon where I can personally control how much it’s marketed.

Thanks for bearing with me, I wanted this YouTube Memberships thing sorted before we hit 200k subscribers because I know based on feedback from you that this has been hurting the very reason to why you subscribed in the first place.

It seems crazy that 6 years and a half years ago I started posting videos and it turned into a full time job making videos about cars! Thank you everyone! 🙏
