Help Our Friend Pay Off Her Esthetician School Bill

Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to helping our friend pay off her esthetician school bill and continue pursuing her dream career.

She's worked incredibly hard to reach this point, and with your support, we can help ease the financial burden so she can focus on completing her education and building her future. If you're unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser with others would mean just as much.

If you'd like to support her, you can contribute here: ko-fi.com/indiehorrortalk/goal?g=0

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. 🫶

It's heartbreaking to hear about the passing of ‪@mixlas6853‬.

Let this be an important reminder that mental health matters. If you ever need someone to listen or someone to talk to, please don't be afraid to reach out. You never truly know what someone may be going through, so always try to show kindness, compassion, and love to one another.

Losing someone is never easy, especially after all the people we've already lost over the years, including those we admired and looked up to. My thoughts are with Mixlas' family, friends, and everyone affected by this loss. Rest in peace. 🕊️ 💔

Indie Horror Talk

Good morning, everyone.

I wanted to take the time to share an update on Indie Horror Talk.

Season 2 has officially resumed production, and the goal is to complete it before the end of 2026. I also want to sincerely apologize for the lack of updates regarding the show. There has been a lot happening behind the scenes, and I appreciate everyone's patience, understanding, and continued support while we worked through these changes.

I'd also like to share that SleepyMochiZzz has stepped away from their role as our 2D artist. As a result, the remaining episodes following Episode 6 will no longer feature illustrated artwork. The well-being of our team has always come first, and we felt it was important to prioritize everyone's mental health and allow them the time and space to focus on themselves.

I also want to make it clear that these changes to the remaining production of Season 2 were my decision, and there is no bad blood or negative circumstances behind them. I wanted to make adjustments that felt right for the future of the show while respecting everyone's time, personal projects, and well-being.

Additionally, the intro and outro segments will no longer be used in the remaining episodes. The animations were created by ‪@NCCAnimations‬, the modeling was done by ‪@scg444‬, and the VFX work was done by ‪@MarzCreationz‬. We're incredibly grateful for the amazing work they all contributed to Indie Horror Talk and the effort they put into bringing these segments to life.

Before I talk about what's next, I'd like to look back for a moment.

In 2024, the Season 1 finale was originally meant to be my final appearance as the host of Indie Horror Talk following the episode Jackson and I recorded with Dave Rivas, the voice actor behind Joey Drew from Bendy and the Dark Revival. At the time, stepping away felt like the right decision.

After that episode, however, something changed. Even during one of the most difficult periods in the brand's history, so many of you continued to support me. Regardless of the challenges we faced at the time, you still believed in me and wanted me to stay. That meant more than words can express, and it's something I'll always be grateful for.

The reason I chose to stay was because of how much this community cared. Seeing how emotional it was for many of you and how difficult the news of my departure was to accept showed me how much Indie Horror Talk, and my role within it, meant to so many people. Some guests even expressed that they didn't want to continue if it meant moving forward without me being part of it. Those moments made me realize how much of an impact this journey had on others.

At the same time, I always knew there would eventually come a time where I would need to step aside, even if it wasn't easy. I want everyone to know that it's okay. This isn't goodbye to the community itself. I still love and care about each and every one of you, and I'll always be grateful for the memories, support, and experiences we've shared together.

Because of your encouragement, I chose to continue this journey. Looking back, I'm incredibly thankful that I did. It gave me the opportunity to meet so many incredible developers, creators, musicians, voice actors, artists, team members, and community members who have helped shape Indie Horror Talk into what it is today.

That said, leading this brand has also come with a great deal of responsibility. While it's been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, it has also carried a lot of weight over the years. I'm incredibly proud of where everything began, how far we've come, and that I was able to continue this journey beyond what was originally planned.

After four years as the host and face of Indie Horror Talk, I've decided that Season 2 will officially be my final season as host. This time, it truly feels like the right moment to close this chapter and begin a new one.

While I won't be the face or host of Indie Horror Talk moving forward, I will always support the team and continue cheering them on as the brand enters this next chapter. Indie Horror Talk will always be something I care deeply about, and seeing it continue to grow will mean the world to me.

With that said, I'm proud to announce that ‪@annikadag‬ and ‪@JacksonMerril16‬ will be stepping in as our new hosts and the new faces of Indie Horror Talk. Both of them have been important parts of this journey, and I couldn't think of better people to help guide Indie Horror Talk into its next chapter. They have my full support, and I know they'll continue building something truly special for this community.

We'll continue doing our very best to deliver the highest-quality episodes possible, and I sincerely hope you enjoy everything that's still to come.

I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the summer. Before we know it, fall will be here, and we'll also be celebrating our anniversary on November 25th, which I'm incredibly excited about.

To every team member, contributor, guest, friend, and supporter who has been part of Indie Horror Talk, thank you for helping make this journey possible. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has listened, watched, supported, shared, volunteered, or simply believed in Indie Horror Talk over the past four years.

This community has changed my life in ways I'll never forget, and I'll always be proud to have been part of this incredible journey.

See you all very soon.

Hey, I hope everyone is having a wonderful afternoon. I wanted to bring up something important and would really appreciate it if everyone could help support my dear friend ‪@T.Redish_fox‬. He’s a very talented artist and a genuinely kind person with a caring heart who is currently going through a difficult time and could use support with art commissions.

If you’re looking for artwork, I highly recommend checking him out. He’s one of the best people I’ve ever met, and there’s absolutely no pressure for anyone to commission him. If you’re interested, please consider following his socials or sharing his work.

Most importantly, we want to help him secure a more stable income and support his family as much as possible. Thank you, and have a wonderful night. 💙
