GOOD FRIDAY'S GOOD NEWS.

The Blood Of Jesus Christ, His Son Cleanses Us From All Sin. 1Jn 1:7.

A large conference was held in Chicago with almost every religion of the world represented. At one of the sessions, Dr. Joseph Cook, a Christian, addressed the delegates. "I want to introduce to you a woman with a great sorrow," he said. "Bloodstains are on her hands, and nothing she had tried will remove them. The blood is that of murder. She has been driven to desperation in her distress. Is there anything in your religion that will erase her sin and give her peace?"
Dr. Cook paused. No one offered an answer. So, turning his eyes towards heaven, Dr. Cook called out, "John, Can you tell this woman how to get rid of her awful sin.? After waiting a few moments, he exclaimed, " Listen! John speaks: The blood of Jesus Christ, His Son cleanses us from all sin.'(1jn 1:7)."
Of all the gospels proclaimed by the world's religions, Only the gospel of Christ provides God's forgiveness. Heb 9:22 tells us that "Without shedding of blood there is no remission." Peter, Writing to forgiven believers, declared, "You were not redeemed with corruptible things,...but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot" (1Pet.1:18-19).
Christ shed His blood to blot out our guilt. That's #GoodFridaysGoodNews.

By Christ, the sinless Lamb of God,
The precious blood was shed,
When He fulfilled God's holy Word
And suffered in our stead.

✝ Galatians 4:19

"My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed You.

little children

The allegory (Gal 4:22-31) is addressed to justified but immature believers (compare (1Co 3:1); (1Co 3:2) who, under the influence of legalistic teachers, "desire to be under the law," and has, therefore, no application to a sinner seeking justification. It raises and answers, for the fifth time in this Epistle, the question, Is the believer under the law? (Gal 2:19-21); (Gal 3:1-33); (Gal 3:25); (Gal 3:26); (Gal 4:4-6); (Gal 4:4); (Gal 4:9-31).

Unpopular opinion but it's true. Flee from ALL sexual sin. Porn, masturbation, fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, etc.
When we do these things, not only are we sinning against God but we are sinning against our own bodies like 1 Corinthians 6:18 says. These sexual desires come from our own sinfulness as well as straight up from demons. Resist the devil and he will flee from you ❗
