Greetings Friends!
Wishing everybody happy May 9th Victory Day! Unfortunately, here in the US it's not very celebrated. In fact, very few have even heard of it. But we honor and celebrate with you NATIONAL HOME FRONT HEROES DAY and the defeat of the Nazi Regime. The US has never been in such a position to experience war on their soil and of course we pray that day never comes, however it is important to reflect and commemorate all of the fallen heroes including soldiers AND civilians who lost their lives and experienced immense suffering in the Great War. All in the hope that one day the people of the world would be free of hatred and live peacefully in love.
As humans we are not perfect, and yes there are still battles even now and people are suffering, but we are trying our best. Every time we give a little more power to love and forgiveness instead of fear and anger, we resist together and help to strengthen all that is good. We are focused on optimism for a brighter future, however with reverence acknowledge all that has brought us here now.
