HOW TO PUT GOD FIRST IN YOUR LIFE
By intentionally spending the word of God
✨What you are not intentional with, you will never do it. ✨When you are intentional to spend time with God ,He reveals Himself. ✨ Without intentionality,you will never spend time with God. ✨ Intentionality is always followed by an action. ✨ Without intentionality, you will have every genuine reasons and excuses as to why you are not able to spend time with God today and you procrastinate it for tomorrow. ✨Intentionality will lead you to pursue God .
WHAT MUST YOU BE INTENTIONAL ON TO SPEND TIME WITH GOD? 💫Bible study ✨This is the primary way way God reveals Himself to people. ✨You do not have to read large portions at once,consistency in reading the Bible matters more than quantity. ✨God's word transforms life when it is ready and lived.
WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU WHEN YOU INTENTIONALLY READ THE WORD OF GOD 1. You know God personally.2 Timothy 4:14-15 2. You grow your trust in God.Numbers 23:19 3. ✨What you put first determines what you experience next.
✨You cannot experience answered prayers until you pray.
✨What you prioritise now determines what you will experience next.
✨What you need to put first in your life,it is God.
✨When God becomes our priority,His priorities become our priorities,He promises that everything will be ordered properly.
✨When you prioritise God ,you experience Godliness.
✨God does not what to be an option in your life ,He desires to be your foundation.
✨ Putting God first means making Him the centre of your decisions, priorities and daily life .It does not mean ignoring responsibilities or ambitions.Instead it means aligning every area of life with God's will.
✨ Putting God first is making Him the centre of your decisions.
When you put God first:
1. You seek His guidance before making decisions.
💫You rather experience trouble with God than experience trouble without God .
💫When you inquire of God,you don't let emotions lead you.

2. You trust Him with your future.
💫God looks for His purpose in your plans .
💫Don't make plans until you know what is God planning for you .
3. You allow His word to shape your values.
💫When you prioritise God,you pursue His instructions which are written in the word of God .
Reasons as to why you need to put God first
1. To get clear directions from your life
2. To have peace in the midst of the storm of life
3. For spiritual , emotional and physiological strength.

✨God attached a purpose to the name Jesus Christ. ✨There is a purpose to everything God does. ✨There are things in our life that God causes them to happen, they are things God allows them to happen,whether they are done by God he attaches a purpose to them. ✨God does not bring your way evil things.Every good and perfect gift comes from God. ✨Everything that comes from God is good,when He allows evils things ,he ensures that they go with a purpose attached to it. ✨Always seek the purpose of God in any situation you are in. ✨When the seasons get tough,look for the purpose of God.Let your eyes be focused on the purpose of God. ✨Everything He does,he attaches a purpose.God's purpose is always good. ✨Jesus came to save us from the root cause of our problems. ✨Jesus did not only come to save,He came to stay. ✨The coming of Jesus was a long standing promise.

✨Where other people were seeing another newborn baby or just another new kid on the block, the wise men saw Jesus in His various offices. ✨ Today wise people see Jesus beyond His natural trappings. ✨The gifts they brought to Him were announcing the threefold purpose for His coming to the earth.
1.Gold-This is the stuff of which crowns are made of and crowns are put on the head of kings. ✨The wise men ecognised that Jesus is royalty. Not just a king but The King of kings.
2.Frankincense-This is the incense that priests burn to mix with our prayers to give them a sweet aroma before God. ✨The wisemen recognised Jesus as our High Priest. He lives to make intercession for us.
What kind of a High Priest is He?
💥Merciful and faithful. 💥The High Priest of our confession. 💥A compassionate High Priest. 💥A High Priest in the order of Melchizedek and not Aaron. 💥He is our forerunner into the Holy of Holies where He secures our eternal hope. 💥He is the perfect High Priest.
3.Myrrh-The substance used in embalming dead bodies. ✨The wisemen recognised that Jesus came to die. He is our perfect sacrifice. ✨His sacrifice, His blood, His death and resurrection are enough for us.
