AI won't replace DevOps Engineers. It will replace the ones who only knew tools.

So, if you're starting up with DevOps, don't just learn tools but start building along with it.

Are you also worried due to use of AI in corporate?

Beginners are worried about getting the job and experienced ones are worried about losing one.

So, you are must thinking what should I do in this market?

Here are the tips that we're following to be more productive and secure:-

1. If you're facing an issue (CI/CD pipeline job is failing with this error), then don't just go to AI, copy-paste the error and fix it. Try to understand what's the problem. Give 20 minutes to solving the problem by yourself. Go to google, stackoverflow and read about the solution first. If still you're not able to fix it, then use AI to help you. But read and understand every line of code/fix that AI gives you and then only use that in your code to fix the issue. This way, AI will become the best tutor that you have.

2. Try to learn new technologies everyday. Give at least 1-2 hour daily on learning something new like how AI agents work under the hood, what is RAG, try to get the cloud certifications etc. This gives you the self motivation and feeling of happiness that you're doing something productive after your 9-5. This will help you out to upskill yourself for future opportunities.

3. Think and see where you can improve the existing workflow by implementing the AI adding AI into it. E.g. you can integrate AI in your CI/CD pipeline which will give you the instant answer of the fix. So, developers/QA don't need to go to DevOps engineers for fixing it out. They can then fix by themselves. Likewise, try to think in more depth and see how it changes everything.

Overall, You should not worry about the AI but adopt in a different ways than the rest of the people and you'll be ahead of 90% of people.

The person who helped create RLHF (the tech behind ChatGPT) just launched an AI that refuses to chat. 🤯

It's called Jev, from TypeSafe AI.

Instead of writing paragraphs, it gives your code a straight answer:
✅ Pick one option from a list
✅ Score something on a scale
✅ Answer yes or no
...and every answer comes with a confidence score.

Think of it as a "smart if statement." Is this ticket urgent? Which team should handle it? Is this review positive? Jev answers in milliseconds, and your code decides what to do next.

It's not for writing emails or code. It's for the thousands of small decisions software makes every day.
