About thesarangii: A 8 year old charming and innocent boy called Sarang passed away. He had a wild imagination and different style of expressing his views and portrayed them colourfully on the paper. When he lost the battle, in his remembrance and to keep his name alive this initiative was taken. A small step in this digital world to keep the essence of art and his name going eternally.

Urban sketchers blore team was invited by NACIN ( national academy of customs, indirect taxes & narcotics) to sketch/ document their upcoming campus at palasamudram. Although it's an Era of digital , inspite of many time lapses being recorded, they wanted an artistic uproach to document the development of the new campus.

Three depictions :
I didn't want to paint the Mahanti's realistic portrait. I would never be able to recreate her God given beauty nor I Qantas to draw grid on her face. Savitri , our Mahanti had so much grief behind her beautiful smile & her eyes , kept searching for something. Cinema was all she had till the end and after. Now for those who knew , knows.
