ITA - Frederique Constant ha realizzato tre versioni del nuovo Classic Tourbillon Manufacture, uno in oro e due in acciaio. La versione in oro è limitata a 150 esemplari, mentre le due varianti in acciaio sono limitate a 350 esemplari ciascuna.

La cassa misura 39,00 mm di diametro secondo i dati ufficiali, qualche decimo in meno secondo le nostre rilevazioni, e 10,99 mm di spessore che superano gli 11,00 mm al centro per una lievissima curvatura del vetro, mentre la distanza da ansa superiore ad inferiore, non presente a scheda tecnica, misura addirittura 44,60 mm.

L'orologio monta il calibro di manifattura FC-908 da 4 Hertz e 38 ore di autonomia a piena carica, decorato a Côtés de Genève e pérlage. Tutti i dettagli e le nostre opinion nella video-recensione. Cosa ne pensate?

ENG - Frederique Constant has released three Classic Tourbillon Manufacture, one in gold and two in steel. The gold variant is limited to 150 pieces, while the two steel options are each limited to 350.

The timepiece now measures 39,00 mm in diameter according to the specs sheet (a few tenths off according to our measurements) and 10,99 in thickness (just over 11,00 mm in the middle of the glass), while the lug-to-lug distance is 44,60 mm.

It adopts the 4 Hertz self-winding movement FC-980, offering a 38-hour power reserve when fully wound; it also comes with Côtés de Genève and perlage decorations throughout.

ITA - Ideato per commemorare il 60° Anniversario dal debutto sul grande schermo, il Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond 60th Anniversary è in sostanza la variante in acciaio del modello 007 Edition in titanio grado 2 che Daniel Craig ha portato al debutto nell'ultimo episodio in cui ha vestito i panni dell'agente segreto.

L’orologio offre una atipica combinazione di spunti vintage e tratti decisamente moderni; sono di gusto retrò il vetro zaffiro bombato ed il quadrante senza data con il motivo a onde quasi accennato rispetto ai Seamaster standard (ed assente sul fratello in titanio). Sono viceversa moderni sia il bracciale a maglia Milano (a dispetto del DNA di questa categoria di bracciale) ed è modernissimo il calibro automatico, visibile attraverso il fondo cassa.

Rispetto ad un modello con bracciale classico, il peso scende da 194g a 156g (-20%).

Il motivo sul fondo cassa riproduce l’animazione della sigla di apertura di ciascun film ed al centro appare l'effigie di James Bond con la pistola al centro che cambia postura allo scorrere dei secondi. In basso compare il logo storico di 007 inserito all’interno del numero 60, a sua volta centrato all’interno di un anello circolare con le classiche bolle che scorrono all’inizio della sigla.

Il motivo è impresso sul vetro zaffiro mediante un processo di metallizzazione e sembra sospeso all’interno del vetro. Quest’ultimo è estremamente curato, ha il bordo smussato nella zona di incasso; non disturba il calibro a vista, è parte del disegno decorativo ma interferisce con quello complessivo e con l’animazione “moirè” disposta al centro.

Cosa ne pensate?

ENG - The 60-year commemorative model pictured here is the 007 Edition’s steel option and draws inspiration from the 90s original models, equipped with a blue bezel and dial; in short, it is a 2022 take on the original Seamaster Diver 300M from the past.

The watch exudes vintage and modern traits; the domed sapphire crystal and no-date wave-patterned dial are classier than on a standard Seamaster and are a nod to the past. Vice versa, the mesh bracelet is, despite its DNA, utterly contemporary as it is the fully anti-magnetic self-winding movement visible through the case back. The new bracelet is a mechanical marvel and wins hands down against the original “five links” Seamaster one in weight and comfort.

Placed one along the other, the new one saves up to 20% (156g Vs 194g).

The magic happens as you flip the watch over. It houses the 007 opening theme’s bubble-shaped design on the outermost ring, and James Bond holds its gun in the middle while changing its appearance as the second hand is ticking. Below is the anniversary insignia, hence the historic “007” logo inscribed into the number 60.

The glass has an outer bevelled edge; we understand the mechanical movement is part of the game, but I think it makes the whole design too busy and affects the patented “moiré” animation placed in the centre.

ITA - Il nuovo Tissot Sideral, dotato di cassa in Carbonio Forgiato, soluzione scelta da Tissot per omaggiare il modello del 1969 che montava una cassa monoblocco in fibra di vetro.

Al suo interno il calibro Powermatic 80 nella versione equipaggiata di spirale amagnetica Nivachron™.

L'orologio monta la versione moderna del cinturino in gomma interamente traforato che debuttò con la variante Sport del Sideral originale, dotato di doppio aggancio a pin e privo di fibbia.

The brand put much effort into engineering a worthy successor to that breakthrough model.

The 2023 Sideral is a multi-purpose sports watch housing the Nivachron™ equipped Powermatic 80 movement and a "no buckle" fully perforated strap.
