To the people who keep saying "It's ok for Nintendo to charge $90 for the new Mario Kart because it's simply a premium price for a premium product": Alright, bet!
That means that this upcoming Mario Kart game has to be better than literally any other game on the market. It has to actually be the greatest game released in the last 30 years. Better than Smash Ultimate, better than Elden Ring, better than Baldur's Gate 3, better than Ghost of Tsushima, better than any God of War game, Spider-Man game, Last of Us, Red Dead Redemption, Black Myth Wukong, Grand Theft Auto, Witcher, Bioshock, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, etc.
If you're going to charge more, then you are expected to deliver more. If not, it's a ripoff. I'm sure the game will be good but no way in hell is it gonna be $90 good. Are you honestly gonna sit there and tell me otherwise?
